Good job X, you must of really learned a lot. Hope you apply the knowledge you gained to the best of your abilities!
If you end up continuing to work with CT and applying his ideas to your training in the long-term, I think it will be cool for the T-Nation community to see how that changes your physique. Sounds like your head is in the right place too.
Lol @ your traps/shoulders/upperchest when you’re sub-10% bf. Gonna look ridic.

Dude, first off, you are leagues above many here as far as not being negative. It is greatly appreciated. I honestly wish you would post more.[/quote]
Sadly, the wifi over here is NOT as good as they’d claimed it would be…and obviously working 12 on 12 off 7 days a week limits free time for posting here. I do my best to keep tabs on things though, but for the most part my posting is limited to the BOI here, and a bit in BBing forum.
I was mainly just trying to point out that nobody should pretend they got where they are without help along the way, and for anybody to not do the charity of passing that kindness along would be selfish and silly.
How do you feel all of this high intensity short rest period type training is working for you, as far as preserving maximal muscle mass and such?
lol @ “I have asthma”
That’s what the fat kids say in gym class.

What you wrote makes perfect sense. We all have imbalances. That goes for many pros as well. Johnny Jackson’s calves aren’t exactly blowing mine out the water…but he is still one of the most well known.

Lol. Stop comparing yourself to the pros bro, it just makes you look silly. Really.

I appreciate the comments. Stop defending yourself for being happy with your own perception

Than I guess you should stop bashing guys with 14inch arms that are happy with that and those that weight 140pounds with abs ? no?
I MEAN THIS IS A BODYBUILDING FORUM, SURELY D_C SHOULD WANT TO LOOK AND TRAIN LIKE A FUCKING BODYBUILDER ! NO?! AMIRITE?!

here we go again…
Philosophically speaking, bodybuilding is about creating and realizing your ideal body type, why would that dream allow for short-comings and weaknesses? Why do we always defend our wrongs, and never fight for our rights? There is no credible defense for not working on your weakness, and saying everyone has weaknesses is not a logical counter-argument. We do this bodybuilding because we want to approach perfection as close as possible, at least that’s what I think.
Vids were awesome X. A friend of mine saw you training and he said, “blood and guts”. Watching you and CT train - made me want to teleport and train with ya two. Just the two of ya guys training together was epic in itself. Great stuff, thanks for doing the training lab X.
The same can be said for negative comments. Why do we only criticize rather than praise as well? X has moved beyond needing to justify these type of comments, so why not keep them to yourself or atleast offer some type critical insight or tips that may help achieve what he wants to achieve.
How many Internet bodybuilders does it take to change a lightbulb?
300. 1 to change the lightbulb and 299 to type how bad his form, conditioning, and attitude are.
@PX - Sorry if you answered this somewhere in this trainwreck, but of all the things you learned this past week, what do you think the most important thing was? Was there anything that you will immediately apply to your training?

…to stop worrying so much what other people think. Since I was 14 I kept my head down in an effort to prove “haterz” wrong. The problem with that is, you can easily run into a wall before you realize that maybe you already succeeded.

How about training wise?
Professor X, do you think you’re going to start incorporating more freeweights into your regular routine now after training with CT?
From off the top of my head I can’t think of a single Mr. Olympia that didn’t rely mostly on freeweights, even the obscure ones like Dexter. Thoughts?

^ this is a gem
X3/4 on the shoulders traps and chest.
Prof X: If someone told you your back and hams were lagging a few months ago, how would you try and bring them up? The same question again, but after training with CT and having all the talks you had, would your approach to it change and in what way?

…A few months ago I was still having pain on many shoulder movements. I was also limited in leg training. You see, all of this had been written before, The only thing I hadn’t mentioned on this site was the triceps tear I had in my left arm around 2006-2007. I had an MRI done after that injury but no surgery due to it not being a complete tear.
Therefore, my training would not have changed much because there was a reason for many of those weaknesses, This is why in the video I mentioned that I usually warm up more than that when training chest. My elbow is still sore from not doing that which may limit chest training this week.
Because of being more recovered at this point, I am now focusing on rear delts and continuing to do what I was already doing for back which was the same concept he focused on (although with different movements)…holding the peak contraction when training back.
The largest change is the decrease in rest and the attempt to increase overall volume.
My weak point is not strength, it is work capacity.
I was already working triceps twice a week or more before I want to Colorado.
Professor X, why aren’t you perfect yet?

Because I’m not dead yet.
Prof X I read in your Indigo-3G log that your using the stair stepper as cardio because you don’t have access to a sled. I don’t have one either so I’m thinking of doing hill sprints instead. Question is, what do you recommend I do? As in, frequency, time of day, duration, should it be an all out effort, etc.?? What does Ct recommend for you? Btw, Im trying to get to real low bf if that helps.
Keep up the good work.
