To Professor X

They are all beautiful women in person and on camera. That camera isn’t lying. It isn’t like they turn the light off and they turn into Gremlins. LOL

i totally get that. the circuit work is really tough. i was commenting on Loudog’s post about protecting his knees, not your form. I feel that keeping the weight in front of you during a walking lung helps to reinforce the upright body position. it wasn’t a critique of your form.

OK.

It is hard to tell what angle some people are coming from in this thread.

What I really learned is that now I have to change my training around because what I was doing was good enough to get me here…but to take it further, needs me in a different place physically.

I thought my “cardio” was better than that until I got up here. I wouldn’t have been able to make it up the stairs in the condition I was a couple of months after that accident.

Deadlifts are now back in…because they look cool as shit and I would like to see how much I could when I can actually have time to breath in between sets.
Cardio like that is hard as shit, especially if you’ve never done it before really, so I thought u did a sick job. Most here would be humbled by it.

Cool to hear your bringing deads back : ).

Also, didn’t even realize that you HAD to turn your head on those presses, I thought that was just something you were doing…very odd movement, surprised you even got up that heavy.

but, can you get them wet ZING!

X,

I havent read through all of this thread (or the live spill) so I’m not sure if its been covered already but I just watched the leg workout vids in the livespill and have a tip/critique.

On some of the sets when you were doing the Sumo DL’s you’re not “pulling the slack out of the bar” before you actually lift the weight, like you should. I know you said you havent DL’ed in years but thats something that you really should do to avoid a biceps injury, especially while pulling mixed grip.

Good looking leg workout for sure. Thats the only critique I have ATM.

My thread… What… have you done to my beautiful thread… YOU MONSTERS!

Sweet!

By the way, my posts get ignored a lot (lol… nervous laugh). I’m not sure if its because people think I’m being sarcastic/trying to make snide comments, but most of the time I am being genuinely sincere…

Just throwing that out there.

Hey, maybe NOW you’ll grow some real man traps instead of “working them directly” with shrugs… /

Cool news.

Even when you compared me to Diamond Jackson?..

Edit: holy shit… you’re only 16??

Nevermind…

X, would you be so kind as to send me an e-mail (addy is in my info if you click on it)? I have literally no way of contacting you without making a whole public thread on here…

Damn, that leg session totally annihilated you, Prof. You looked like a beast sumo deadlifting. For someone who never done those, that was impressive. I hope you keep the sumo Dls in your legs session.

And regarding Thibs calling you Prof X, I laughed at that. Seriously. That was funny.
He really started to come alive when he was sumo deadlifting quite entertaining to watch. I hope Prof x takes away the importance of free weight exercise.
WTF? He benched 405 regular before he switched over to the Hammer Strength…

Unless your joking, in which case, shame on me.

Nice. Seriously though, more than almost any exercise, form is crucial with this. I assume to know that but just saying. I never really worried about it until I got into the heavier weights but I know plenty of people who fucked up their backs doing it and had to stop lifting entirely for a few weeks and others who just avoid them now because they slipped a disk or something similar.

Good luck getting ready for a show and achieving your goal, Prof X.

I think too many people missed Bonez’ advice which, imo, is spot on.

Thank you. I am not sure where some of these comments are coming from. All I did was free weights for years.

Why the hell would anyone think I look like this just because of HS machines? Especially after having explained this shit too many time to count?

WHO is that size but can’t bench at least close to 405 or above?

Yeah, form always needs work. To me though, for the very first time doing them in a decade, I don’t think I did any worse than could be expected.

LOL.

Truth be told, I am sure I will hear it when my traps blow up over everything else…then the comments will be why I didn’t control the growth.

That one arm sideways press look very similar to the one that Mike Liberatore was showing at the Flex website, on Secret Chest Arsenal.
