Hey thanks…

You’re a bright person, who seems to have his “ducks in a row” so to speak. It just kills me to see someone not “get it” when it comes to this life experience thing.

I remember a back and forth with Mr. Popular about the same type deal. He kept talking about how he was going to be in 10 years, and he is bright also, so you hate to see someone completely miss the point.

And the point is, you are trying to tell people that have been both 22 and 32 what being 32 is like when you have only been 22.

Life is a pain in the balls man. Enjoy college as much as you possibly can, because once it is over, shit really does change. And I never believed I would be different either. I thought I had it all figured out and all those old bastards are idiots. God was I wrong. It fucking irritates Bonez when I talk like this, lol, but he’ll see soon too…

The reason people “jumped at you” is we see ourselves at that age in your posts sometimes, and knowing full well you’ll ignore what we say, lol, because we ignored it when people told us, we say it anyway. Because there aren’t too many days where I don’t look back and wish I shut my fucking mouth and listened once in awhile…

IDK, maybe I misinterpreted your tone, and if that is the case, then my bad. But if one or two of the guys in the early 20s around here is actually listening and takes it to heart, then it was worth the post.

Hello sir, what is your full name, date of birth and SSN?

I’m just curious.

lol at people praising X for “putting himself out there” and all that. Please, who here wouldn’t want to do it. Most of us would probably pay to do it and as far as I know everyone was flown out for free and now gets tons of supplements for it. What a sacrifice…

Having said that, I was glad to see X giving it his all in todays leg workout, he obviously can push himself.
ebomb5522 wrote:
X, what is wrong with your knees?

I’ve never heard of a guy that has a tough time doing hammie movements but can do quad stuff comfortably with a knee injury. Just wondering.
I can work around quad movements but it took time for me to learn what I can get away with…for instance, I can set the leg extension so that the legs don’t go under the seat…something that was killing me today because of how that leg extension is set up. I also found that squat machine I talk about which seems to allow me to train legs easily with heavy weight and due to the leg placement…way less pain afterwards.

I also started rehabbing the area myself with unilateral leg presses. I did that for well over a year. I can now do regular leg presses pretty easily (the machine the in the video for this is made way different which is why I didn’t get into the groove until the second to third set).

Hamstring movements like leg curls I can do but if I “overdo it” it can lead to pain the area.

As far as what exactly happened to cause all of that, that is private info. Shit happens.

Let me put it like this…every guy here who think they don’t need to worry about potential injuries before they happen…won’t be thinking that for long.

You can make it through your 20’s with minor nags and pains. That shit comes back to haunt you later.

I wouldn’t have ignored it. I had enough sense to listen to people older than me.

Clearly that didn’t pay off in my life.

LOL

I was on this site at that age and was on the Flex site since I was 18. They made me a moderator there as a job because of my posts…the same shit I wrote when I came here.

Everyone wasn’t “young, dumb, and full of cum”.

I’d like to add one thing to the thread;

I mean no disrespect to X or anyone else I might have engaged in the thread.
X just has certain personality traits that don’t rub me the right way.

I mean no harm to him, and wish him good luck in his future lifting endeavours.
So if I offended anyone earlier, I apologize.

Totally down for the video posting becoming more prevalent…gives people incentive to really push themselves harder when you know others will be seeing what you’re doing.

(waits for someone to come out and say that it doesn’t matter what others think, only what you do).

I just think it would be something fun and mix things up.

So X how have some of the free weight movements worked out for you injury/pain wise? Could you see yourself implementing them over the longterm?

Lol.

I just think it not only can be cool for everyone to see how people lift, where, etc…but it also adds extra accountability, whether we are talking about weight lifted or form used, depending on your goals.

I think it would be the odd person who didn’t push harder when filming than when didn’t, in average.

I know I’ve PR’s on film, and couldn’t match them again for a week or two later…

Depends if you’re married or single.

Single: Whatever she makes for you

Married: what ever you make for yourself.

Agreed…which is why much of this is new to me. I know to get big and strong and have settled into the exercises that allow me to do that with the least risk and the least setbacks.

I know for a fact that if I go back to dumbbell lateral raises (especially going as heavy as I was), that it will increase my recovery time for biceps. Last time I did that I ended up putting biceps on the back burner for a year before I found that machine. I couldn’t even train biceps weekly when doing that.

However, I am sure some people will just assume I got to this size using light weights since that is what they want to see.
I don’t know if you have ever tried ART, but that can seriously help with nagging injuries and pain caused by certain exercises.

When you train year in and year out, issues are always going to come up, and that’s an effective tool I’ve used to maintain progress.

I do applaud your efforts, and putting yourself out there. Best of luck with your training.

All I’ve gotten from him is that it’s somehow wrong for me to state on a public forum that I’m curious about something. I never asked your name. I never put you on the spot or put any pressure on you to do anything. There are people who feel the exact same way as me, that a first name is nothing to hide.

I have my full name posted in my profile. I have never posted anything on this forum that I am ashamed of. I have posted physique photos but they don’t have my face in them. I’m not someone who goes out of his way to say rude things to people.

X, you will have one awesome physique, proportionate or not, if you cut down to a body fat that is universally considered ‘lean’. From the standpoint of a curious kid, I would really like to see that happen. Just please don’t lump me into the group of people that go out of their way to antagonize you. I see the holes in your physique, as others do, just as I see them in myself, but I’m not the one who is going to try to tear you down for it.
Mostly posting to follow this thread.

Aaaaannd to say that im finding it very hard to see why you should be berated for the original post concerning X’s name. You werent rude in any way and didnt come off (in my opinion) as being pushy or persistent in trying to find out what his real name is. I dont understand why this is still being talked about.

Yes, it is somewhat humorous that CT would refer to you by the internet screen name that we all know you by. No, my saying that does not mean i am going to persistently hound you for a first name.
