I never asked your name. I never put you on the spot or put any pressure on you to do anything. There are people who feel the exact same way as me, that a first name is nothing to hide.
Not the point. I was on this site when I was your age. I would have the tact to send a private message. You didn’t. You also see nothing wrong with several of the people here who actually have careers telling you the same thing. I already know you don’t really get it. What I don’t get…is why you think successful people older than you are clueless.
I have my full name posted in my profile.
Good for you. Credentials? Can what you say here be directly linked to your own personal business?

Yeah, the experienced guys here are the clueless ones.

Yeah.
Am I supposed to send you a PM to say that I find it funny that they call you by your internet forum name in real life? Or that I’m curious what your first name is but don’t have any significant interest in it? Does that seem as pointless and stupid to you as it does to me? When you can make it clear to me that simply stating that I’m curious about somebody’s first name is the crime that y’all make it out to be, I will be more than happy to agree with you. In the future, if I have my own personal business, I will make sure not to do anything that I would have reason to hide, just as I do now.

I have no idea why DJHT decided to jump on me. He never posts in this forum and I’ve had exactly one forum exchange with him. I have a ton of respect for CountingBeans, he’s a father, has a full-time job and still busts his ass. I don’t respond to him because I didn’t want to get into an argument with someone who I actually enjoy reading. All I see is people jumping on the young guy’s posts for an absolutely stupid reason.

I have really enjoyed the videos. Maybe!, we should start a Video post for all T-Nation members to get the chance to put their fav exercise or whatever of themselves on display for a little constructive criticism.

That means you would be missing all of the people who don’t think it’s stupid.

I don’t know…if it were me, I would look at what those people had accomplished…and then look at the accomplishments of those who think it is a stupid reason and compare.

I do the same for anything else in life. I will take advice and treat it like gold if the person giving it is successful.

If the guy is homeless…not so much.

Either way, if this leads to you still not getting it, just forget it.

The funny thing is that it’s about 10000x times easier to track someone down with a picture than a first name, yet pics are all over the place and aren’t given a second thought.

On a similar note, Professor X’s situation reminds me a lot of George Leeman/babyslayer/Mega Newb. He used to be very fat, very big and very strong. He was regularly bashed around the internet but didn’t hold back from being a dick either. He recently cut down and is very close to single digit bodyfat and looks terrific. He’s also turned his attitude around completely. It seems like X is pretty much doing the same thing, just on a smaller scale. He’s been a lot ‘gentler’ in the tone of his posts and seems like a pretty nice guy to me lately.

The only real thing that changed is that you can now see my personality. I dare you to go find these posts that go against what you’ve seen…now that you know how I really act.
It’s not just because of the videos. I also think your posting tone has been better lately. I’m not going to go back and get examples but you have a tendency to lash out against the people you don’t like, just as we all do. It just seems like you let things roll off you easier now.

Most of the serious lifters here are now very well known. It isn’t a mystery who has been kicking ass and who hasn’t anymore. I now regularly communicate with many of the people here. Most of the true idiots…I place on ignore. The stupidity level has decreased…especially now that I can erase the fuckers.

Why? What relevance in life would you need to know his first name? Not coming to his defense lord knows X can defend himself. But why cant he have or anybody have some privacy as a professional?
Because it’s 2011 and this is the internet. Duh.

It would be funnier if CT switched back and forth between ‘Fro-presser X’ and the other iterations of the name that came with the avatars. lol
Sorry Bones I forget and I guess the face palm is a big insult for the younger members.

Mr. whatever your name is and your gold medal avi, I apologize. I thought this topic has been covered many, many, many, many times. So for you to bring it up with what, some small hope that since you were asking X would reveal it to you?
Cool story bro. In the future, engage with someone else. I have zero desire to get into pointless debates with you. If I did, I’d post in GAL.
Hey, now.

When he wanders out to engage with the youth, he does it in blizzards.

Uphill, both ways.

So show some respek.
Lol @ uphill both ways! Your posts always show up way late and I never see them until after the fact. They still bring the lulz though. Never thought about how awesome being white must be until I read your post in the ‘F the Police’ thread.

Not to hi-jack this further, but MegaNewb was the fucking man, and ended up owning every last bitch who was on here running their mouths - awesome. Dude/kid deserves a shit ton of credit.
Oh I know! His progress was incredible and despite what some say, his genetics are not elite. He got to where he is by working his ass off and that is what makes him so impressive. I wish he still posted here.

Yeah man, I don’t really get the uproar over talking about it.

Whoo! That’s like seven straight posts just from me. I usually only do this in the Training Logs section. lol.

No offense, but when one of his own boys logs on and pretty much says the exact same thing I have, I tend to wonder why you ignore so much.

How bad were your pains on elbows? tendonitis? and how did you work around it to develop them? i’m dealing with some bad, bad elbows right now, which pretty much cut out triceps work, and some pressing and sometimes interfere even in rows.

Man, it was intense. They would sometimes just start hurting for no reason.

Part of that was because of a minor motorcyle incident I had in the military which tore my triceps when my bike fell over and I tried to catch it with one hand before it hit the ground…right after training chest and triceps really fucking hard.

It still bothers me some, but the hs dips don’t antagonize it…which was why my progress there fell off until I found a gym with that machine.

That is why these comments like I just ignored certain body parts are bullshit.

My rear delts are lagging in part because of that car accident and overall shoulder soreness. I couldn’t do a reverse fly until right before I lost that weight.

My knees have been fucked up…which also limits my hamstring training.

I can do quads just fine.
MODOK wrote:
To me, drug-assisted means you have taken prescription or black market pharmaceuticals…not OTC supplements.
Come on man. With this and the comment about not caring about proportions I think you’ve gone off your rocker.

In 2011 MAG-10 Legacy/Destroyer is a black market pharmaceutical. By your logic, in the 1970s Arnold was natural because injectible testosterone was not a black market drug in Europe OR in America. It was not illegal to use testosterone prior to its scheduling as a narcotic in the Bush Sr administration.

Honestly man. Youre a really smart guy. But come on. Read what you just said again. The legality of a drug has NOTHING to do with classifying someone as drug assisted or not. You legitimately sound like the brainwashed congressmen who make the circular argument that “steroids are bad because theyre illegal, and obviously theyre illegal because theyre bad”.

By your logic someone could claim natural status in 2005 after using copious amounts of methyl-drostanolone aka Superdrol aka M-drol, one of the most potent oral steroids available. It was perfectly legal to use prior to 2006. Unlike MAG-10 it does not require conversion to become active. further supporting how legality is totally irrelevant.

This isnt a post about whether X is natural or not, I dont give a flying fuck who has used what drug until somoene steps on stage at a lifetime natural show. But for good measure I will say that your post is one of the dumbest, ignorant, most biased, self serving posts I HAVE EVER SEEN regarding PED use.

wow, talk about bike’s accidents. My father’s close friend crashed with his bike last year. He literally had his arm hanging, he lost at least 70% of his shoulder, including the bone.

He had surgery at Brazil, it still wasn’t good, had to go to US, they had to redo everything, from scratch and they gave a new titanium, metal rods shoulder, the cost? 78.000 US$

I get scared as shit with the consequences some stupid driver might make that might end up fucking your life forever.

I couldn’t ride for several months after the accident to the leg and shoulder pain. I just pulled my bike back out a couple of weeks ago. People drive crazy in Houston…and that rush hour traffic is insane. The heat adds to all of it making it unpleasant right now until it cools off.

Florida was perfect for bike riding. People weren’t constantly trying to kill you.

X, what is wrong with your knees?

I’ve never heard of a guy that has a tough time doing hammie movements but can do quad stuff comfortably with a knee injury. Just wondering.
