Yes they do they are called Sleds. [/quote]

hahahaha screw you guys

haters gonna hate. keep up that focus you’ve been showing in the vids and it will get harder and harder for the haters to find things to slam you for.

i know in the past you have commented on your stubborn calves. just out of curiosity, are they stubborn in strength too, or just in size? i find it very interesting how some people just naturally have ginormous calves and other people can train 'em to death with little success. it’s even more surprising in your case with the weight they support. it just doesn’t seem like any other body parts behave quite like this.

Best motivation that I have ever heard - “DF, you cant do it, just quit.”

I’m learnin a ton from these videos, keep up the good work X, and keep up the teaching CT

I’m surprised to hear MODOK, someone who has competed, criticize Waylander for commenting on focusing on weak points. I’m still a beginner, but I figured after a couple years of serious, thoughtful training, you kinda figure out what grows easily, what doesn’t, and begin to address these discrepancies to achieve the best physique possible. Of course, some may not care to try to maximize their aesthetics and instead only care about size and the “brick house effect”, but I figured most that are into bodybuilding would.

I’m not a big fan of X’s condescending “tone” on the forums either, but I also find myself rooting for the guy. I hope this opportunity in CO gives you a chance to see how you appear to others and what you can do to make your physique the best it can be, or whatever your goals are. Maybe you still don’t care about being lean, but it’s amazing how much a decent level of leanness helps the appearance of one’s physique. and we all want to see you get there.

so good luck, work hard, and don’t take the haters too personally. k that’s all i got. back to the peanut gallery.
EDIT: oh, and nice job busting ass on today’s leg session. I felt like i was right there watching.

Im not here to be a prick at all.

I dont give a shit about the weight you use. But I do agree with other about your proportional imbalances.

I think youre at the point where it would serve you very well if you tightened up your form on a lot of movements that emphasize very specific muscle groups. Let’s be real here, youre probably not going to get much bigger at this point. I mean bigger in general. That doesnt mean you can’t add significant fullness to your triceps, which you badly need to balance out the front delt dominance.

Using momentum and body english is not productive for certain exercises as it tends to allow dominant muscle groups to take over. You know that. These videos are an insanely invaluable tool for you. No one has the ability for a camera man to film their sets from multiple angles. Better yet, you have CT doing the stuff right before to get ideas on how to make adjustments.

Now unless you have the triceps genetics of Marcus Rhul you should be able to make noticeable gains in the long head. Keeping the front delt from assisting an overhead extension or PJR pullover will take some discipline. It may not even be possible with the injury. But it’s worth the attempt, IMO

Yes waylander is a dick to X most of the time but his critique on X’s physique was spot on. Whether or not it was constructive criticism or done with malice is irrelevant. Nothing he said was made up and he was 100% accurate.

Not taking anything away from X but i think a lot of guys i guess expected more. I feel like X pretty much shed light on the importance of doing lateral raises and then you see the video and his medial delt is a weak point. Anyways he has great traps and anterior delts.

At this point in this thread i guess he knows what needs to be addressed but it just baffles me that it took this long for him to realize this. i mean you said your chest was a weak point and now it’s one of your strongest body parts. Just not sure why you didn’t realize that for rear delts and triceps so you could address them sooner.

I get caught up in the moment at times and i must admit i was talking to the screen while you were doing lunges. I was like “come on X, straighten your back, bring you knees lower to the ground”… lol I guess i was kinda rooting for you, although i did laugh when you said you need a break because you have asthma…lol

Bodybuilding encompasses a muscular well balanced physique not just size. Hopefully this was a humbling experience for you and you reevaluate your methods of training. I commend you for putting yourself out there especially with your reputation around these boards.

I learn a couple things:

  1. Address weaknesses IMMEDIATELY. I’ve always said that but my argument get countered by bigger guys saying just worry about getting bigger and the imbalance will look less obvious. We now see that’s not the case.

  2. Stick to the basics and free weights as much as you can.

Hey, now.

When he wanders out to engage with the youth, he does it in blizzards.

Uphill, both ways.

So show some respek.

As much as people think I hate Prof X, I really don’t. I just see him as one of those guys that needs a reality check and me being blunt (like he is with everyone else) always causes a shit storm because he and others think I’m trying be an asshole but he refuses to listen to what anyone has to say if it comes off as criticism so it’s a never ending cycle.

Either way, to save the forums further bickering between us I’ve returned the favor and put him on ignore as well so we can all live happily ever after on these forums.

Just a note from an outside observer…but several people are trying to tell you the exact same thing.

I do find it funny how many are concerned with whether this was a “humbling experience” when they refuse to take any advice about themselves.

My medial delts are weak?

My triceps are lagging because of the intense pain I had in my elbows until very recently. There were months where I couldn’t train them at all. It isn’t like they are lagging because I didn’t see it.

I’m not even coming down on you hard…but this attitude like I am blind to my own body as if there couldn’t be reasons for some of that is a tad off.

My rear delts are lagging.

My triceps are lagging.

My hamstrings are lagging.

These aren’t surprises. What was new info was CT saying I need more back width and I will definitely work on all that I know to be true weaknesses. Triceps had already been added twice a week for the last few months…something I’ve written in my Indigo log.

Be less worried about my “humility”…unless you have corrected all of your own character defects.

Yeah, there are weak points…that can be corrected in possibly less than a year. I will work on that.

All I’ve gotten from him is that it’s somehow wrong for me to state on a public forum that I’m curious about something. I never asked your name. I never put you on the spot or put any pressure on you to do anything. There are people who feel the exact same way as me, that a first name is nothing to hide.

I have my full name posted in my profile. I have never posted anything on this forum that I am ashamed of. I have posted physique photos but they don’t have my face in them. I’m not someone who goes out of his way to say rude things to people.

X, you will have one awesome physique, proportionate or not, if you cut down to a body fat that is universally considered ‘lean’. From the standpoint of a curious kid, I would really like to see that happen. Just please don’t lump me into the group of people that go out of their way to antagonize you. I see the holes in your physique, as others do, just as I see them in myself, but I’m not the one who is going to try to tear you down for it.

Not the point. I was on this site when I was your age. I would have the tact to send a private message. You didn’t. You also see nothing wrong with several of the people here who actually have careers telling you the same thing. I already know you don’t really get it. What I don’t get…is why you think successful people older than you are clueless.

Good for you. Credentials? Can what you say here be directly linked to your own personal business?

Yeah, the experienced guys here are the clueless ones.

Yeah.

On a similar note, Professor X’s situation reminds me a lot of George Leeman/babyslayer/Mega Newb. He used to be very fat, very big and very strong. He was regularly bashed around the internet but didn’t hold back from being a dick either. He recently cut down and is very close to single digit bodyfat and looks terrific. He’s also turned his attitude around completely. It seems like X is pretty much doing the same thing, just on a smaller scale. He’s been a lot ‘gentler’ in the tone of his posts and seems like a pretty nice guy to me lately.

It’s not that tough to be both nice and helpful. The Mighty Stu and ebomb5522 do it.

did not think about momentum of a car to a prowler, and never having used a Prowler, I can see why my original statement was not entirely accurate.

then again a few hundred pounds on a Prowler, or 3,000 pound vehicle on wheels? over 100 yards I’m gonna guess both will wear you out.

Now who wants to put it to the test

The only real thing that changed is that you can now see my personality. I dare you to go find these posts that go against what you’ve seen…now that you know how I really act.

It’s just different. Once you get a car moving, the goal is mostly to keep it moving. That isn’t that hard unless you aren’t strong enough or are going uphill.

That sled would stop just due to friction…then you have to push hard to get it going. You use a lot of energy just doing that.
