Titan Tim Tackling his Twenties

Pwn summoning technique: @T3hPwnisher

Yo Pwn is there any difference between lifting in the morning, afternoon, or night? Is there a time period where the human body is the most energized?

I suspect this is not something he has ever concerned himself with, haha.

Good morning jshaving how are you

It’s less about time of day and more about wakefullness and proximity to meals. If you go to sleep at noon and wake up at 2000 and go lift right away, it’s the evening, but you’re fasted and newly awakened, so you’re going to be stiff and weaker compared to if you trained at 2000 after waking up at 0600 and getting in 4-5 good meals.

I’m good man, how about you? Just realized that Thanksgiving is next week, and that’s insane. Less than a month till the end of the semester, so that’ll be nice.

(And I feel like I should add - I wasn’t trying to speak for @T3hPwnisher, more just making a joke about the topic of the question.)

I’m happy that my semester is ending soon as well since it ends December 8. It’s also week 6 of Deep Water Beginner so that’s exciting but also pretty frightening. My winter break is like two months long so I wonder how I’ll keep myself occupied during that time period.

I see you always post the times you wake up on your log. Do you have a strict bedtime for yourself or is that impossible with your schedule?

IT’s insane.

Also, class time seems to pass WAY faster now compared to earlier in the semester

It’s less an impossibility with the schedule and more an improbability with the family life. The evening is the time I can spend with my family, which is WHY I train so early. I’ll stay up as late as my wife wants to stay up. When she wants to sleep is when I’ll sleep.

Although, what you tell me is an anecdote it really pushes me to do better man. It’s that time management that you have, it is quite impressive. When I think about what I do as far as it comes to eating and sleep, I can always do better. Sometimes I feel like I sabotage myself. Not getting in all my meals as early as possible just leads to me craving fast food at the end of the day. I could also limit IPad usage before bed time since blue light screws up melatonin production. I could also set a bed time for myself since I do have the time. That’s all lol, I had to get some thoughts out.

I eat a HUGE breakfast (or multiple breakfasts as the case may be) to ensure I start my day off right nutritionally. Otherwise, like you noted, you have to play catch-up and it can backfire. I also eat a very big meal at the end of the day for a similar reason: if I’m running behind in the middle, instead of panicking, I tell myself that I can just make it up at the end. Keep it all Deep Water stuff and it goes a long way. Appreciate the accolades: time management is a skill to develop over time. You get to learn what works and what doesn’t. Multi-taskign is huge too. Yesterday, while I was doing the dishes, I also had my airfryer making my work meals, and I was cooking my evening meal on a plug in skillet. My microwave as warming up reiced caulflower as well.

Three ribeyes with a crap load of garlic butter shrimp

@supercardrives here’s some motivation for you

Classic surf and turf: well done dude! I’d add an avocado for garnish.

I made a surf and turf burger on veteran’s day: Mahi Mahi and Bison. It was fantastic.

So many types of meat I need to try/cook. I actually never heard of mahi mahi but that’s a really funny looking fish. Besides, variety makes it easier to avoid thinking about fast food.

There’s SO much fish out there. Mahi Mahi has a beefy taste to it, interestingly enough.

Note to self: NO less than three meals before lifting. I feel like I can fight the hulk right now lol.

I ate equivalent to three meals for breakfast (I guess), lol took me like 2 hours to eat everything. I felt tired after eating eat it but now I feel super energized. Sometimes I eat two but screw that honestly.

Yk sometimes I always feel like I get trolled in my life on challenging ocassions. Water bottle refiller is broken at my gym and I have little to no water left. Fml I got deep water deadlifts but I MUST CRUSH THESE.

I never have water while training. You’ll get it done dude.
