I will do that. I don’t know why but I been making dumb excuses for not doing that. I actually have 3 plastic containers and lunch box that fits all containers. The lunch box came with two ice packs as well. I used that during my first run of Deep Water Beginner during my internship last summer.
My excuse was that I don’t wanna walk around college with food all over my teeth even tho I can literally just bring floss and a toothbrush.
Oh man, I’m like a damn squirrel. I got food EVERYWHERE, haha. Packs of tuna, cans of tuna, salmon and chicken, macadamia nuts and pecans, quest bars, grassfed beef sticks, etc. Great call too! Never be forced to eat junk.
Get those floss things Pwn showed. Get the big stuff outta the way with those, then take a swig of water, gargle, and swallow/spit. Your mouth will at least look clean.
I try to get a decent amount of fat with each meal, and try to have an equal balance between fat and protein in the little things I eat like PB.
Although these past 4-5 weeks I’ve really cut back on animal fat at dinner. I’ve been eating very lean (for me) cuts of beef and grass fed ground beef… I just end up eating a ton of it. I’m assuming that’s why I’m leaning out a little bit.
It’s super simple dude! Just eat lots of meat, and concentrate on trying to find good (“healthy”) sources of it.
What’s your goal with your body, by the way? Strength? More muscular? Getting leaner?
It seems like the general theory from what I’ve read is that getting stronger and leaner at the same time is extremely difficult to do (I do not agree with that). You are running the correct program to see the results you want, IMO.
Did you see/feel any differences the last run through of deepwater?
I definitely put on more muscle mass. The thing is my last run of deep water I skipped conditioning entirely. Since this is my second run I’m doing conditioning 3 times a week.
I also skipped conditioning my first run of it and ended up losing a decent amount of fat along the way, so it’s not absolutely necessary. Although, with the conditioning added this time around and a bit of a cleaner diet I’ve noticed even better results.
It sounds like you’re on the right track to what you want to see. Try to keep the DW diet in your mind when you make food choices and I think you’ll see the benefits. Crush it dude.
@anna_5588 That career fair turned out great!!! It was a little rocky in the beginning but it went well. We had 19 companies and 30+ students. Me, the Vice President, and Treasurer were working like a team to keep it functioning smoothly. I’m so happy about the event. That event was easily the best so far in this year. I’m very tired now.
