I think straining to make it happen to soon has a history of producing bad results. Letting it “just happen” is never a bad idea, but you’ve gotta remember that in a paradoxical way, if you’re waiting impatiently for it to “just happen”, it’s not “just happening”, if you get my drift.
You’re young, dude. You can get married whenever you want, but your brain is literally going to change over the next few years, so try to keep focusing on healthy interactions at the moment - that’s the best way to set yourself up for accidental success.
Not that this means much but I took a personality test my senior year of High school. I also took the same one like a couple weeks ago. I still got INTJ and it totally reflects who I am.
I wake up.
I go to work.
I go to the gym.
I come home
I either work some more or engage in hobbies in a solitary manner.
I love being alone.
Don’t do the college equivalent of this and I’m sure you’ll meet lots of people. Maybe some of them will be women that you’ll want to get to know more in a more personal level!
I may be speaking out of school a little here and apologise if it comes it across like that.
But you are taking this all to seriously mate. Just be yourself and socialise with people. Some of those people you will like and some you maybe wont. When I was at colleague I literally spent my days and nights now I come to think about it, talking to random strangers and making new connections. The more you interact with other humans the better you will get at it.
Often when we think too hard about the type of person we like or want to meet we end of never finding that person.
Unfortunately anna I go to a gym outside of my university. The university gym isn’t open to students due to covid nonsense. Would’ve been the perfect place to make gym buddies…
Perhaps next time for all my lifts I should take what I think I can do and go 10 lbs under. Super tough deadlift session. I ran outta juice in the last 3 sets. Obviously gonna lower the weight next time.
I am a bit disappointed with how I’ve been eating this week. I’ve been falling back to bad habits (not eating enough or ordering fast food). I ordered burger king and kfc this week.
This is usually what leads me to ordering fast food. I eat breakfast then I spend the entire day doing student organization or academic related stuff. By that time it’s late and I get lazy and very hungry but I don’t feel like eating the food I have in the pantry.
This week was really nuts for me but it was nuts in a very very very good way as far as career related stuff is concerned.
I try to leave things where I spend a lot of my time. I’ll leave bags of almonds in my work van, and a jar of peanut butter just to ensure I have something with me at all times. It’s not ideal, but it’s better than having nothing.
I’ll agree with the cooler. Get a few reusable freezer packs and bring an lb or two of meat and veggies with you in your car or just carry it around. Slam some food down between classes and eat your car food on the way to/from the gym or whenever you’re in your car.
