I would so take a free bar. Plates are mainly the issue. They’re very expensive.

I have no idea how it works, but I would go to the post office. As far as paying for shipping I do have cash app.
Not sure what cash app is, but I’ll call a local office in the next day or two and see how much shipping will be and let you know

Hey man, sorry very busy with work lately. Just called UPS and for a shipping estimate they need a zip code. Idk how to do this without getting either one of our info up for all to see but I’ll need at least that in order to have a solid number for shipping

Not to sound depressed but this bar is the only thing I can look forward to in life. The state of the world right now is getting to me. My first year of college is going to be garbage too.

Unfortunately I just called the UPS store again and they estimated over $250 to ship it. I don’t know how in gods name it could be that much, but definitely not worth it for as shitty a barbell as this is… I was thinking it’d be closer to $100 to ship.

Well hold on just a min. I called back, I initially was quoted for shipping+packaging. I have the tube that my new bar came in. Just called back and got another quote minus packaging. Somewhere in the ballpark of $60.

Is the bar olympic?
It is a just a bare bones 7’ bar with center knurl… nothing special. I paid less than you’re going to pay for shipping for it. The real reason I bought it was because it came in a package with 255# of weight. Definitely not a forever bar.
If it’s the dick’s bar, it’s olympic, and @tlgains there’s a video on YouTube of a guy deadlifting 650 to test it. The bar has a slight bend after 600+ but it’s still more than you’ll need to get strong.
