I was in my mid 20s before I had a beef rib. They’re fing massive, think about the difference in the size of a cow and a pig, similar diff in size of ribs. They’re also incredible, I’ve never cooked one myself but get them occasionally when I get bbq, some of the best meat out there imo
Hey just found your log, will try to follow along!
Ribs look awesome dude! How were they??? Looks like you got a nice bark on them
They were boilertastic!

Went to a nice gym today, it’s small, not crowded, and has a lot of specialty bars.
Only downside is some lady brought a mutt to the gym. This was kind of annoying tbh considering it kept barking at people entering. Is it so difficult to keep your animal at home, hmmm?
I was too much in the zone that I completely forgot the treadmill today. I’ll make it up lol

I improvised with the deads, I also met a natural bodybuilding/powerlifting coach dude named joe while deadlifting so we chatted a bit (thanks for the compliments joe!!).
5 minutes ago I ordered IronMind Strong Enough Straps. Time to stop dicking around, get my straps, and add some grip work into my training regularly (I planned on doing this during my next maintenance phase, but screw it)
No more mixed grip in my training, you will not be missed.
I am so glad I am going to be employed Jan 23 cause I’m about to blow some money on coc grippers.
WOW! Ironmind has a free article on the site on how to train with these, reading is soooo coool.

This is the way dude. Hell yeah. Learning to brace while strapped to the bar can be confounding for some folks. Might be worthwhile to train that in anticipation of the strap arrival.
took me a very long time to figure out. I actually do my brace differently. No straps, I take a big brace while standing upright and then quickly reach down and grab the bar. With straps, I actually strap up with the bar a little bit in front of me, with no brace at all, then kinda extend my torso, get a brace, and then roll the bar into a starting position. Works well for me anyway
I am “some folks”

I’m trying to think of something to do that would keep me occupied on the weekend once spring semester starts
I was thinking another job perhaps. it’s be awesome to learn new skills that could lead to a second career path, or at least make some more money.
It’s too bad I can’t become a weekend part time apprentice carpenter, plumber, or electrician….cuz who the hell would train and pay someone for that. (Also If wanted to get a Journeyman’s license I would probably have to work 1000+ hours according to state law)

Definitely get another job. I don’t know anything about you, but i know that experience compounds. Retail, fabrication, service, analysis- all these kinds of work give you something you can take with you and leverage in the future.
Exactly bro, that the whole idea!
I applied to Sales Representative at Lowe’s. According to a literal bot, apparently the calendar for interviews is full? Still gonna apply to other places
Feel free to give any suggestions Jdm! (Or anyone else)
forgive me if you’ve posted already, or are not comfortable disclosing, but what’s your college major/year and work history to date?
