Titan Tim Tackling his Twenties

You know what’s funny dude. There is a YMCA somewhere close to my school. When I walked to the school gym today, the guy told me the building was getting renovated so starting next semester there will be shuttles taking students there. I mean, I am going back home this week so I will have my equipment. I have absolutely no idea where that building but I will find it eventually.

Thanks a ton Pwn! @boilerman inspired me and from him I learned that he adopted your training philosophy. I want to get stronger so I simply must do everything in my power to get stronger. If I don’t try everything then clearly I don’t want to get stronger.

I have actually never thought of saw horses, I suppose @flappinit built his horses. I do see some on Amazon but I’ll wait until flap responds.

This is definitely what I’m finding, too. I can’t think of a reason to take it easy. I want to get stronger and bigger and look better, so I’m going to do it.

Right with ya buddy! After DeepWater I want to do back to 5/3/1 for 6 weeks. I just want to do widowmakers but I also want my training to be somewhat difficult but doable.

It will be like preparation for super squats.

I was thinking 5s pro Pr set then widow makers
and then doing a variation of the main lift with that template as well

Or I can do 5s pro widowmakers and then do that with a variation of the main lift as well

I don’t know if that link works for you, but $15 saw horses from Lowe’s with 1000lb capacity are what I used.

They’re very useful for bench. They’ll hold whatever you’re squatting, but I don’t think the capacity applies to 300 lbs being dumped on them from several feet up. Still, no matter what they’ll protect the ground and will work in a pinch.

Hey flap how tall are you?
Edit: Well nvm they’ll work. I put on my squat shoes, measured the height of my desk, and squatted to envision me being in the hole.

I’m gonna order some right now. Have you added anything to these to prevent the bar from rolling off

Thanks guinea pig, long time no see!

Ye I’m not so sure that was a compliment lol but it sounded like fun in a terrible way.

Ye I’m back around the forum now. How have you been in lifting/life?

Great! The college semester is about to end and I’m gonna have some sick ass sawhorses when I squat on the back porch of my parents house next week.

Nope - like I said, I used them for bench mostly, when you’d be able to stop them from rolling off. Likely, if you dumped weight on them with a squat, they’d bend inwards into a “v” and wouldn’t roll off, but you wouldn’t have to do much to protect them - a bunch of rounds of duct tape at each end would make enough of a barrier that they wouldn’t roll over it.

My mind is set, I’m doing something stupid tomorrow. I’m gonna do both day 2 and 3 of week 4 in the same session tomorrow. Lol I got nothing else better to do. Also it saves me the stress of having to play catch up during the weekend. I’ll only have to bench and do conditioning on the weekend.

Ordered saw horses this morning. I ended up getting rather expensive ones (with adjustable height as well) cause the point was for them to catch the bar if I ever dunk it with squats. Regardless, thank you @flappinit and you too @T3hPwnisher for bringing up the idea.

Just curious, are you training for a specific sport?

I am not training for any sport Hepsy dude. Just a guy who wants to become bigger and stronger. I want to completely fill out my frame with muscle mass and become the strongest I can naturally.
