Tired Day After Lifting?

Does anyone else get extremly tired the day after lifting heavy.

That’s not unusual especially if it was heavy compound movements done the day before. You can have some muscle fatigue and CNS fatigue as well. Just take it easy on your off day and make sure you are replenishing yourself with nutrients and rest to promote recovery.

Yup, you bet!

Yes sir!
(45 years old) After BIG workout nights I’m spent the next day.

I like to call it the “squat hangover.”

Thanks though that i was then only one
who had this happen.

I call it “Gettin’ Old Sucks”
After a big compound movement night I just kinda cruise through the next days work at slooow speed.I’m going to try my first cycle soon and see if it helps any (Can’t hurt, I’m already old, LOL)

Good news is lifting heavy makes me a bit tired the next day the bad news is cardio is scheduled that next day…

Yeah, I’m spent the day after. I’ve found that if my pre/during/and post workout nutrition are in perfect order - it’s much better.

You may not be eating enough.

Yeah, especially after one of those “in the zone” workouts where you are breaking through plateaus.

Discovered that if I really go crazy with eating afterwards (volume , not content) then I’m not quite as lethargic the next 24 hrs.

I agree … getting old sucks.

Ha! Sorry bro could not help but laughing…

Sorry bro, that other post wasnt really helpful.

Tell me what your goals are. If you want to get bigger and leaner than you are now, I would try a lean bulk. Before you up calorie intake, I would switch some foods in and out of your plan. If your weight is still holding steady, I would start with an extra 250 calories a day and see how your body responds in 2-3 weeks. Its all about trial and error my friend.

I used to be, but taking Spike before I workout, using Surge right after and a serving of Micellar Metabolic Drive before has made a huge difference.
Why not give it a try. I’m sure it will help.
