Well I’m abandoning bulking because I’m getting to fat. I look like a slob I feel like s*** and I look like s***. I may go back to bulking but after I get much leaner. I need some tips on cutting some articles look unreliable so would like guidelines. Please don’t criticize I’m new to this andi don’t know what to do anymore
woohoo! another bulking/leaning thread! just use the search bar, there’s been tons of threads about this.
remove sugar and all other refined carbs from your diet. and up your fat intake something wicked. for the first week or so you will feel out of whack as your body adapts to a new fuel source. or as i like to say, you go through your sugar addiction withdrawals.
Post pics.
I am imagining a hoard of newbs getting the “eat more” part down but coming up way short on the “train like a beast” part.
I think their is something wrong with the photo uploader, Its bringing up nothing in the folder where the photo is located

You have gyno. You really aren’t that fat overall…and the gyno won’t go away completely no matter how much you diet.
I am just being real with you.

If you are 16 and “feel like sh*t” you have a hard road in front of you.
What’s gyno?

Oh I thought gyno occurred to boys when they’re in puberty and goes away once in adulthood

Look what thoughts can do.
But you rather be lean and have Gyno than be fat and have it

?
I am not sure what you are getting at. You have gyno. It likely will not go away without surgery. How lean you want to be is your own choice.
I think I need to add that your gyno could possibly be more fat related. In that case, you MAY notice some reduction when losing body fat.
The problem with that is your lack of any real chest muscle. Any accumulation of fat on your lower pecs will stand out when you have small pecs.
In other words, you need some muscle. That is what will give you a better shape…and we have no clue how you train or what type of progress you have made without a BEFORE picture.
If you are gaining mostly fat, you are either eating too much or not working out hard enough.

I think your right about the not working out part… tbh he looks like he’s never picked up a weight in his life.

Dude, I would bet that MOST of the people logging in with “I just got fat” are like that. These people train by the numbers. Most have never even seen someone who was really muscular in person like the pros and probably train around people just like them.
I mean, I would never have even posted a picture of myself in the level of development most of these guys do because I would have thought I needed to have built more on my own first.
Times have changed…and the huge reduction in the number of really built people I see implies it isn’t for the better.
They are getting the “eating” part right and seem to think if they follow some number rules as far as sets and reps, that will magically add the muscle.

I may be talking out of my arse here , as I have no med background…but isnt this situation sometimes associated with hormonal imbalances and related issues ?
yeah , OP may not be training optimally , but he’s not packin’ an extra 50 lbs on him either . and he stated that he feels less than great…another possible sign of hormonal issues .
