I think I need to add that your gyno could possibly be more fat related. In that case, you MAY notice some reduction when losing body fat.

The problem with that is your lack of any real chest muscle. Any accumulation of fat on your lower pecs will stand out when you have small pecs.

In other words, you need some muscle. That is what will give you a better shape…and we have no clue how you train or what type of progress you have made without a BEFORE picture.

If you are gaining mostly fat, you are either eating too much or not working out hard enough.
I may be talking out of my arse here , as I have no med background…but isnt this situation sometimes associated with hormonal imbalances and related issues ?

yeah , OP may not be training optimally , but he’s not packin’ an extra 50 lbs on him either . and he stated that he feels less than great…another possible sign of hormonal issues .
Hormonal imbalances? Look up “negative feedback loop”.

Further, why do some of you jump to the least likely cause when the most likely is staring you in the face?

You are claiming he has hypogonadism?

Do you see other people who look like this and jump to that conclusion?

I think your right about the not working out part… tbh he looks like he’s never picked up a weight in his life.
Dude, I would bet that MOST of the people logging in with “I just got fat” are like that. These people train by the numbers. Most have never even seen someone who was really muscular in person like the pros and probably train around people just like them.

I mean, I would never have even posted a picture of myself in the level of development most of these guys do because I would have thought I needed to have built more on my own first.

Times have changed…and the huge reduction in the number of really built people I see implies it isn’t for the better.

They are getting the “eating” part right and seem to think if they follow some number rules as far as sets and reps, that will magically add the muscle.
Amen.

People need to realise its more than ‘But brah i did 3x10 on flat bench then 21’s with the curl bar why did i get fat?’

(by the way, i’ve been fat since i was 10 so i don’t blame bulking}

I make no claims , just throwing out a question . and you’re probably right.

like I said…probably talkin’ outta my ass

I really think i should start leaning out

I think so too since you likely won’t fix the intensity issue and seem to be blaming “bulking up” for the lack of significant progress.

The problem is, since you skip right over the intensity issue, you likely won’t ever really get a lot more muscular even after that.

Your current eating and training regimen has not made you big. You need to make some kind of changes, though not necessarily shifting to a leaning out phase.

If you build more muscle in your chest, the gyno will look better. It will not be suddenly fixed, but it’s a lot less noticeable when you have pecs.

If you get lean, the gyno will look better. It will NOT go away (trust me, speaking from experience). You also don’t have enough muscle anywhere to look impressive. You could be skinny, but at your current stage of muscular development you certainly will not look jacked n tan or anything regardless of how lean you get.

Obviously it’s up to you what you want to do, but your current practices don’t seem to be working. Just being honest with you here.

Eat. Lift. Sleep.

Do these three things well and you’ll get better. If you don’t know how to do these well, start with the basics. Post how/what you are doing in these three areas and people can help you more.

Eating: What does your diet look like?
Lifting: WHat is your program?
Sleep: How many hours/night?

“I look like a slob I feel like s*** and I look like s***.”
This is not good. If you are training hard and eating well, you should feel good.
