I second that, I’m laughing hysterically over here.
N, I don’t even know how or why you had that pic readily available ![]()

Snapper, I’m fine. On a rest day today. I go into the MRI tube on Friday night, but can’t see the doctor for results for another week and a half.
I really need to stop reading internet stuff about screwed up knees. Its depressing me.

That is a very long time to wait to hear results. Personally, I don’t have the patience. But you, my dear, probably do. I sure hope nothing is seriously wrong. And stop reading the Internet until you know what you’re dealing with.
Hey Kimba, hope the MRI finds a definitive and simple issue with the knee. I had surgery on mine for a torn meniscus in October, so I know what you’re going through.
All this time I’ve been wondering why this Kimba person didn’t have her own log - all the while you were hiding over her in PW, not in the Over 35 Forum where I normally see your comments.
FYI
The roman chair didn’t work for me either…
OMG, what the hell is going on in here? It’s so pathetic but I actually tried the roman chair. No luck either.
Maybe you should re-title your log Tiny Freak in the Roman Chair.
Just a thought.

I couldn’t wrap my head around the image of an octopus on crack so I just googled the words and that thing came up. I debated for a while after reading masch’s comment if I should poste it up or not but Git’s comment nailed it for me.
And, I don’t even LIKE the Roman Chair. Never did it before all of this O talk…er…motivated me with so-far empty promises.
Apparently, though, we haven’t scared off the men with all this talk. Heck, Joe even tried it out – bless his heart.
Roman chair under Snapper’s direction did nothing for me. I will admit to some stirring from alternating roundhouse kicks on a heavy bag.

Much of the internet info on medical stuff is complete BS. You’re better than that.

x2
I’ve had just about every concievable knee injury and internet diagnosis is always full of crap.
Thanks you guys for talking me down off the ledge.
It seems wrong somehow to go straight from the gym, to dinner and then into the MRI machine, but that is my Friday nite. Wish me luck. I wonder if a glass of wine with dinner might be helpful…
^It will be if they give you a Valium before bing-bing-bang-bang-thud-thud-err-err-ting-ting…
Are you going in closed tunnel MRI, or open-air?
Good luck with the MRI. I agree everybody here with the internet reading - everything always seems so negative and depressing. Maybe because people don’t tend to write about their good experiences and recoveries - I don’t know. Waiting for the results is the worst though. I hope all goes well!
When I had my MRI, they put a port in my shoulder and injected dye. Then inserted me into the closed tunnel with a set of headphones tuned into the radio station of my choice. It was really no big deal. You just gotta tune out the bizarre and unpredictable noises that come at you from all directions.
Kimba: Good luck tonight. Sorry you’re having to go through this. A glass (or two) of wine is most certainly in order.
Good luck tonight Kimba! I’ll have my fingers crossed for ya!
Aww Sugar Buns, good luck.
Not a fun Friday night but definetely necessary
XOXO
hope that glass of wine got you through the tunnel of doom!
when I had a MRI, must be 17 years ago now, the tech let me look through the images and pointed out the obvious blow out in my L5-S1 disk but wouldn’t say word one about it…
