Is 24 hours enough time in between workouts of the same body part even if you varied them? I know 48-72 is best. Would 24 hurt them?

No, 24 hours is not good. Don’t train the same muscle 2 days in a row. Do another muscle the following day.
Honestly bro check out some of the workouts on this site and stick to them.

I wouldnt give such a blanket statement heck you could train the same movements muscle hour later the same day let alone the folowing day. There are to many variables mainly what are your work outs the volume intensity etc…
I agree read up there are MANY train of thought on this. But i know just in my case hell if I had to wait to hit the same muscles 48-72 Id never get a thing done like clean and pressing a log the clean hits my low back yet the next day I do lower ME many times with a DL, or loading kegs etc.
You can condition your body to handle it to an extent and there is HUGE carry over onm muscles getting hit indirectly.
Train movements not muscles IMO
