Tiger's Golf Swing!

Even if you dont like golf this is amazing to look it. The camera that they used is absolutely amazing.

Even though I think his swing from 2000 was absolutely perfect his new swing isnt too shabby.

Here is the commercial.

Awsome…simply awsome.

What a sweet swing. I try and I try to get a swing like that but…looks a lot easier than actually doing it…

I can do it during a practice swing but at full speed I’m not even close.

I’d be happy just to swing like Moe Norman.

The only reason Tiger doesn’t have back problems is b/c he exercises regularly…otherwise he wouldn’t last another 5 years on the tour with as much tourque as he generates with that swing…it is something to watch, though.

I don’t even like golf and I thought this was way cool. And the music just wraps it all up perfectly. Nice find, PGA.

Amazing how stable he keeps his head and the focus on the ball is incredible.

I think it’s amazing how much he can keep his left arm straight and raise it as high as he does, I sure can’t do that. Maybe I just lack shoulder flexibility.

PGA, just a curious question for you, why mess with a swing (such as in 2000) that enables you to win the masters by 12 strokes? Honestly, how much better can you get than that? And you ever think he would go back to his old swing since he has not been nearly as successful as the old Tiger?

Thats what I was thinking- If you click on the ‘head’ camera on the first site, he barely moves his head at all during the entire swing until he touches the ball.

This is my personal favorite, though.

His knee took an immense pounding on every full swing. His back takes less torque than what his lead knee does. Watch it again and focus in his left knee. His snap at the end was more pronounced in 2000. He would snap it hard, almost hyper extending it. Also, he was in essence swinging harder than everybody on tour even though his clubhead spead wasnt, he was using a steel shaft in his driver!

A lot of people just dont realize how hard this guy swings. Seeing it on TV is one things being 3ft away and seeing it is another. As hard as it looks like he’s swinging on TV its that much harder. With how hard he hits down on the ball with his irons, I cant believe his wrists dont have issues.

Watch his last swing on this video.

And here is Tiger farting! Listen when Ernie’s ball is about to land.

Making the adjustments he did after his knee injury was the best thing for him.

Jack Nicklaus didn’t make those kinds of adjustments back in his day and it ended up giving him major hip problems.

Jack would swing out of his shoes nearly every shot, and his body took the toll.

The thing I love most about Tiger’s swing is how he doesn’t bring his head through with the club, he lets his right shoulder bring his head around. And that follow through is absolutely picturesque.

I’ve seen his swing up close as well, at the Buick in Torrey Pines over the last couple of years. Just incredible.

John Daly, now there’s another guy who has a remarkable swing, but his is so far beyond traditional that to even attempt it at the range makes me feel like a goofball.

B.

Tigers swing today was absolutely perfect. He only hit 2 bad shots and they were with his 3 wood and driver. Quote of the day “What the fuck is wrong with me!” right after he dragged his driver to the left. I love live golf!

sweet link.

On my wall, I still have the Golf Digest (July 2001) pullout of his old swing.

Of course, Tiger’s full swing is perfect technically. But I prob prefer Bobby Jones’ aesthetically.
