It’s funny…when you’re at this level…and you still are better than 99.99999% of the golfers in the World…if you aren’t winning every tournament, the naysayers come out in force!
It was a great tournament…and a win that Tiger really “needed”…

First major win in 10 tries. He’s great, no doubt but not dominant. I think that’s good for golf though, to see many different golfers win. Several years ago, I thought he’d eclipse Jack but now I don’t think so. Having said this I LOVE his competitive spirit; he doesn’t fold.
There are 4 top golfers who have ever lived, Tiger is one of them. The others being Bobby Jones, Jack and Ben Hogan. Tiger is by far the most dominant player in the world, check his win percentage. sure vijay won like 8 tourneys last year but he also played in 40 of them. When tiger won eight in a season, it was out of 20 or so tourneys. This is also why the world ranking system is a tad flawed, the more you play, the more you impact your standings.
What about Palmer and Player, those guys weren’t bad.
Mufasa, he was never below #2. Ernie was close, but he had a major setback this week.
Garrett, Arnie and Player were great, just never dominated like the other four. I think Player was better than Arnie, but Arnie had an immense fan base behind him that made him the man for a long time. That is until Jack came along… Arnie has never won the career “professional” grandslam, missing the PGA championship. Jack, Hogan, Player and Tiger have. Bobby Jones was an amateur golfer his whole life and won the “amateur” opens (US and British) when they were the biggest tournaments around. There was no money being a professional back then, hence the amateur championships were the strongest around. He won the OTHER career grandslam, US Open, US Amateur, British Open, and British Amateur.
It was great how he made the ball pause right at the lip of the hole so they could get a good shot of the Nike Logo!! 
Glad he won. I enjoy watching him play.

hedo reminded me of something…
I have people at work (and family) who like golf about as much as a root canal…but they will sit down and watch a tournament that Tiger is in!
I thought that was funny too about the “Nike” thing…the ball went RIGHT to the edge of the cup, with the Nike “Woosh” showing…paused…then IN IT WENT!
