Carl, get tired just looking at those last two workouts.
Was wondering if the lifting was going to get backed off, but from reading it you appear to be still putting in serious work.

Yeah, about the only thing I’ve changed (besides adding jumping exercises) is my attitude. I’m much more willing to skip a weight workout now if I’m tired or I feel like it will interfere with throwing. on that note:
6/5 Lifting
Was tired from cleaning out my room at school, so skipped this workout.
6/6 Throwing
Shot: the usual warmup, plus about 5 extra half spins, timing was off so I worked on that for a little. Then about 50 bajillion full throws. Took a while to get one to go right, again timing. Finally was able to wait long enough for the arm strike and got a few good ones in.
It was one of those frustrating days where there is a clear picture in my mind of what my body should be doing, but the body just wouldn’t cooperate. Best throw of ~15.25m.
The Freshman football clinic finally left my hammer throwing field, so
Hammer: 15 throws, many in the 46-48m range. Was not throwing hard, just trying to catch the ball earlier and keep my weight over my left foot on the turns.
O
Carl, methinks I should have been backing off more recently…
will have to now…
