Thoughts On My Core Workout?

2 sets curl ups
2 sets reverse crunches
2 sets heel touches
2 sets suitcase crunches
2 sets leg raises
2 sets bicycle crunches

Any advice is appreciated

I think your toadstool needs cleaning

It depends on what you intend to achieve from it. What are your goals?

Personally I find crunches boring and L-hold variations, turkish get-ups and wipers more useful and fun!

And you forgot freeway walks. Best results are obtained from 1 very short intense HIT style set performed at 5:30 pm in your major city of choice. Just like Mentzer used to preach, 1 set will be all that’s needed or possible.

What are your goals? Remember that diet is key when trying to “get a six pack” for show and tell. Why are you so focused on your core workout? The core can be worked through heavy squats, deadlifts and other exercises in addition to some direct work.

My advice is to do it until you stop getting anything out of it. Then, switch it up.

Also, I wouldn’t do this workout every day. I’d probably do it 2-3 times a week and no other ab work.

I hope you’re doing a lot more than just abs as your workout.

Wasn’t he trolling here a few weeks ago?

It seems fine if you’re happy to waste a whole workout just on your abs. You can get a better and more balanced effect (you have a lower back too you know) with front squats, stiff leg deadlifts, standing DB shoulder press, pull ups with a weight between your feet and then, maybe some crunches.

I know which workout I’d rather do.

yes, he’s too amazingly muscular, and it’s embarassing/awkward.
