Thoughts on Kai Greene's Posing Style

alot of the people i talk to at my gym and just friends, actually like the fact that he entertains the crowd by incorporating some modern dance moves in his posing

but some of the older guys an a few others think it takes away from tradition and is bad for BB

personally i think Kai did something really great and unique and makes it interesting to see the different angles and lines he creates with his body for his poses

i still prefer tradition when watching olympia or the arnold

but you cant blame Kai for standing out and bein awesome lol

what do you guys think about KG’s Style

I think hes a great entertainer and has great moves, but I think he could still refine his posing by better “balancing” more traditional poses with his more conceptual moves. I feel his routines are just a tad too “artistic” and he needs to slow them down a bit to allow for more traditional poses in his routine. Hes fun to watch, what ever he does.

hey, it could be worse…

Personally, I enjoy Kai’s style, and it seems to match his personality a bit. Plus, his routines pretty damn entertaining, even if you have no interest in bodybuilding.

thats exactly how i feel about it

if he can do that he’ll win over both sides hands down

hahahahahahahaha

I think it he prances like a fairy.

I don’t care for his style at all. I think it is corny. Jeez I wish Vic would of just won the Arnold.

x2

The more entertaining, the more money he’ll bring in for the sport. Im personally so stoked for his next competition.

Oh.
My.
Gawd.

I think the man can dance.

I would also prefer it if, at times, he slowed down and hit/held more traditional poses to better showcase what he has built (as stated).

I could also do without seeing the worm again.

lmao. I didn’t expect that.

The man can dance like no other. I’ll give him credit that he does bring new flair to the stage, but last year’s routine with Soulja “WACK ASS MO FUCKA” Boy in the background really broke my balls. It looks great. Do I care for it? Not necessarily. If anything I like Melvin’s pop locking

Its very strange to me and I don’t really like it.

I’m a big fan of the way the guys did their routines in the 70s (Arnold, Ed Corney, Serge Nubret etc. etc.)

To each his own I guess.

Fucking love it.

I mean, the worm being a segment of his rundown was unnecessary, but at least it proved built dudes can still move.

If he holds some of the poses a little longer than his mini-pauses, I think it will help him show off more.

I think it is interesting but like others wish he would hold poses for a little longer. He gives you like half a second to take everything in, which just isn’t enough.

Also I won’t be upset if he doesn’t do those weird ass headstand things or the worm again.

This is probably the best routine I have ever seen:

Like said previously, I wish he would hold his poses for a bit longer.

Oh, yeah… I think I repressed those.

x2 on that.

That was the best part…
