Thoughts on Kai Greene's Posing Style

the head stand is to show of the glutes and hams which are the best out there right now. Agree that he could slow it down, if he did his dance shit but additionally stuck and held poses it would be better. If he brings up his chest and shoulders a bit he’s top 3 this year at the O.

to the Vic fans, Vic didn’t win the Arnold because he was not the best guy on the stage.

I’m covering my ears.

Personally, I like tradition, and I never really liked Kai.

But then I saw him live, at the Arnold, and I was impressed. It really was entertaining, everyone got into it. I mean yeah, you can get into it with loud music and good muslce rippling poses like Branch Warren, but it’s just very unique and interesting to see a guy doing that kind of stuff with his body, while still making his physique the focal point.

I’m also one of the guys that prefer bodybuilding style routines, but can’t take the guy the recognition he deserves. For GB, Melvin is awesome, it’s my favorite non conventional poser.

Some guys on the bodybuilding scene, not necessarily the PRO scene go really off; the robot dance is acceptable, but there comes times when I wonder “I thought bodybuilding routines were for displaying your muscular attributes, not for getting private dance clients after the show (if you know what I’m talking about)”.

Eh - at least he’s interesting.

For the most part, posing routines are boring as hell. Shit, he brings some energy to what is otherwise a slow, ponderous affair.

I mean, there are other guys that have some life in their routines, but Greene really brings it. I do think he goes over the top too much, but I’d rather see Kai doing his thing than watch some of these dudes, who basically put me to sleep…
