This Thing We Do

Great lifting. Are you going to post some throwing vid?

Is it warm enough to swim in the river yet? I’m about to retire my jacket for the year here.

I hope none of the kids on your route ever mess with the mail man.

big squats, Hel. Nice work.

that is what I am pretending to do “renovate”

JT, the 405 is my goal, for now.
MJ, Got a big highland game practice lined up with some guys on the 29th. Definitely get some vids. The weather is in the 70s now but the water is still a bit chilly. Goin give it a try next week.
And once again the calendar says it’s 3/20.

As I sit here before going to work I’m once again forced to admit that beyond all my expectations and to my utter amazement I’ve somehow managed to survive yet another year. In retrospect it’s been a good year and I can truly say life is good. Today I’m 54.
Harry

Happy Birthday big guy! I sure hope I can be like you when I get to be 54

Happy birthday Harry!

And I echo what Willy said, you are an inspiration, in both your physical achievements and mindset.

This year will be even better than last, I am sure.

Happy sesquicentennial + 4, Hel. Being born on the first day spring means forever young.

Looking forward to the HG practice videos.

Hey, Harry, Happy Birthday. I always thought that every birthday starts a new chapter in the book of your life. Write another good chapter!

Harry have a great birthday, and a great year to come

Happy birthday Harry and this next year will be even better than the last!

Happy Birthday! A pleasure and honor to share with you on the T-Nation!

Got me by a couple of months. I’ll catch up in August. Happy Birthday Harry.

Holy shit, I thought you were 35 like the rest of us. Bet your wife doesn’t let you out alone. Happy Birthday Harry, keep that fire burning.

Gentlemen, while it’s very hard to express emotion in the witten word please believe me when I say I’m truly touched by all your happy birthday wishes. Thank you all very much.
Had a great time last night. Lots of family and way too much food. My last day of work today before my 2 weeks off begins and I definitely need the walking. We’ve been blessed with some beautiful spring weather this last week so while the long hours haven’t been exactly fun they’ve at least been pleasant.
Tonight, back to the gym and my pursuit of the perfect bench press position.

edit: Tried to read several threads here. Got through one before the dreaded white screen showed up.

Happy birthday! Sorry I’m late. I won’t tell you my mom is 57 and dad is 59 (they started very young).

So you get a white screen. I get sent back to December 08. Mines funny cause sometimes it takes me quite awhile to realize what’s up!

Late as well but that’s always better than never.

Happy Birthday!

Very early this morning
Super strict, flat backed, body builder type, elbows out, shoulders untucked, flat footed, ass unpuckered, un-awe inspiring, repetitive bench presses
135,185wu,225x10,275x10x4
hammer bench press
90wu,180x10,230x10x3
fly machine
90wu,120x10x4
Tates

Overhead db tri ext

I won’t end up with the heaviest BP of all time but I’m sure gonna have a purty one. Decided I’m going to work the deads a little more. More carry over to the highland throws. Next goal is 540. Figure 10 lb per year is a good starting point.

Thats some damn fine high rep pressing there Hel.
