Anyone else enjoy powerlifting as much as this ox?
Setting open records as a junior…guy’s a beast !
A 3.37x bodyweight squat as a junior? The WADA may need to step its game up lol
Thats amazing lifting, guys a freak and I’m sure were gonna hear much more from him in the future. It’s great to see someone that loves this sport that much, he looks like brett favre in super bowl XXXI after every squat lol

If you dont think one can do this natural you should kill yourself
Brett Gibbs is awesome, he has a few training videos online and trains with a ton of intensity. Cool stuff.
Also, have a look at Randy Zhou, the Canadian who finished second in the same competition. Some really great IPF lifters coming up in this new raw classic category.

Calm down man I was kidding ![]()
But you may want to work on some pre existing anger issues and think about your own opinion. Because while I believe that this particular individual is an amazing athlete, if you don’t think that steroid use in drug tested sports/events is still rampant and the WADA is full proof you may want to stop being so naive.

You’re both right, but the issue is casting aspersions, however tongue-in-cheek, about a fellow athlete without a shred of evidence besides the fact that the guy is good.
Are you an armchair lifter or an athlete? Because I can’t fathom a decent competitor mentioning doping with respect to an individual, even in jest, unless you know something, in which case have out with it. Otherwise you have no business going there. Wasn’t funny.

I’m sorry. I didn’t realize everyone is so fucking butthurt about the topic of steroids that someone can’t even joke about them briefly, while spending the majority of exact same post complimenting them. I’m a fairly new lifter, I’m only trying to get a 1300 total at 181 and will more realistically hit 1250. But seriously why did that comment even escalate this far? Don’t take everything so seriously, if someone said that about me I’d personally take it as a compliment.

Don’t think you need to worry about that for awhile bro.
It’s bad form, it wasn’t funny. Move on.
^ Why so serious?
You on?
