Thib Results: Poliquin's Insulin Protocol

Coach
is there a connection between the Supra-iliac site and the abs?
i have often read the connect between carb intolerant (gluten) and cortisol?
thanks

if you are intolerant to any food it will raise cortisol among the other bits of damage being intolerant to a food will do

I think Charles is making a biosig DVD. It was recently recorded/soon to be recorded, but I have no idea as far as release date or anything.

Any way to test gluten intolerance other than removing it from your diet? I heard Poliquin has some muscle testing that he uses to assess gluten intolerance?

Any bodyfat percentage above which you think this is a waste doing this at, Thib? I don’t think I would ever personally do this above 8% bodyfat caliper. If for no other reason than that Charles’ fenuplex and insulinomics are pretty expensive. I don’t think there’d be enough of a difference unless you are already lean.

Is there some advantage of doing Biomodulation testing over blood tests, other than it being less invasive?

Also, I suspect from what I have gleaned that I may have a cortisol issue (resistant tummy fat, even though my estradiol levels are low enough -24-). I notice that you, Thibs, recommend glycerine and phosphatidylserine.

The latter is rather expensive. Has anybody here found a more economical (yet good) form of this? Someone told me that phosphatidylserine cream was a more economical form but I have yet to find any.

yeah i know the muscle test he is talking of.
if you visited a very very very good and experienced nutritional kinesilogist you might be able to get that test done.

intolerance will show up in a stool test i believe

any names of people or techniques i could search on the topic of nutritional kinesilogist?
thnanks

havent a clue to be honest.
theres a kinesilogist where i live but she s shit
google it.

i might be wrong of course. charles s test is prob like he puts his thumb on your big toe and he knows every thing your allergic to.

and if he pulls a pen out of his arse he can make you jump 40 feet into the air…
i shit you not haha

The NOW brand of phosphatidyl is much cheaper than many. I use it.

I couldn’t find any on his website, but in case anyone knows of any trainers in NYC who do the biosignature caliper work, please let me know. (Maybe his website just isn’t up do date).

Thanks.

the listing doesnt give bio signature, ring these people, mark does bio sig but i m sure he s expensive.
he s New York City

Cool, thanks very much for that.

Many thanks to gar18 and Curranni, both of whom recommended Mark to me. I have an appointment for him to do the Biosignature analysis on me next Friday (16th). I’ll keep you guys posted!

Thanks again.

Not to hijack, but I’m actually really excited about this. I’ve never had any formal BF testing done before, but that’s not really what I’m interested in anyway. The Biosignature assessment fascinates me, though. And if I can utilize it half as successfully as CT has, that will be a huge boon to me.

Hey Christian…also what does Ultra HCL do? It says digestive support function…in the grand scheme of things why do you take it with the insulin protocol?

HCL is basically digestive acids. It improves digestion and absorption of the nutrients (and supplements) you ingest. It’s not for insulin sensitivity per se, only to improve the efficacy of the digestive system. After all, what is important is not the amount of food you eat, but the amount of food you absorb!
Very cool. Thanks

I just received some Fenuplex in the mail 2 days ago. I got 2 60 count bottles…only thing left in stock. It says to take it before meals. My question is how long should you wait to start eating once you take the pills?

thib have you been measured this week yet?did you add the “drugs” charles recommended?
What drugs? Did Charles recommend additional supplements other than the fenuplex and insulinomics? Thib was already taking those.
curranni wrote:

Drugs??? Hopefully you mean this as a sarcastic comment. Or maybe you meant that the supplements he recommend are so effective that they could almost be called drugs.

I sincerely hope that this is what you meant.

But even then, if you made the comment as a joke I still find it idiotic since a lot of peoples reading this thread might not reach the ‘‘second degree’’ and automatically assume that Charles recommend drugs (not the case) and that I use some (certainly not the case!).

But to answer your question, my next test is this Friday. I could not go last friday due to some occupation.

oh i ve always called supplements drugs as a shit joke, its my irish cork sarcasm, and i write as i would talk.
apologies i meant no disrespect to you, charles, his system or his supplements which are fabulous.

i was about to edit out the term but looks like you ve already done so.
