Seriously though. Let me tell you a little story about a “plan” falling apart.
My dream since 1999 was to be a soldier in the Army, and finally in October 2010 after the death of my childhood friend David in Afghanistan I Dropped out of college and joined the National Guard.
So I signed up and headed out July 2011. Well my training was going fine and I had passed everything until on a simple night patrol I slipped and fell off of a road and dislocated my hip, cracked my femur, and broke my ankle. I spent 4 months after that doing menial physical labor with a broken leg while getting berated and made fun of by Drill Sgts. (Anyone in the military knows how poorly injured soldiers in training get treated)
Finally December 8th they sent me home.
So here I am back at home in mom and dad’s house with no job and education. Felt pretty shitty not going to lie.
But in life we don’t have the convenience of quitting. SO I went and took a semester of school (only one class but still) just to get into the swing of things. Then I got a job working as a roofer (made my leg feel GREAT) and at Victoria’s Secret. Yes they hire men and I love working there.
Now I am going back to school at the college I originally dropped out of for a 2 year degree as a Physical Therapist assistant.
So the moral of my story is that shit happens, so roll with it. Just take steps, even if they aren’t always forward. Just KEEP MOVING. You’ll get it together and find the direction, but direction means nothing if you aren’t moving.
You aren’t as bad as her, you aren’t a pathetic slob crying in the gym. You have goals and you work towards them. You don’t have to be THE best to be YOUR best. That’s all anyone can ask of you and its all you can ask of yourself.
I think I need to take a vacation to Canada now…

Meadows stuff is more about BBing than PLing, just FYI.
He does include the main movements, but they’re done differently. Also there isn’t x-by-x weekly progression so you don’t have to feel like you have to get a certain number of reps or a certain weight each week. Might be good for you. Just train to how you feel that particular day.
EDIT: btw, when I say “different”, I mean he does pre exhausts and stuff before the main movements instead of doing main stuff first… not like you need different form or anything

All true, but still lots of gems in there. Wouldn’t recommend doing any of the main lifts Meadows-style if your main goal is PL-ing, but lots of ways to fit some of his things into your accessory movements.

Oh ya so I added shit up and my new diet will be around 1800 cals per day except squat days will be like 2000. Which is probably over 1000 less calories than I was getting before cause I would eat like entire meatloafs in 2 sittings and I would think that was being healthy and restrictive for some reason?
I don’t understand, my parents would eat chicken thighs for supper and have ONE chicken thigh each and I would have four or five to myself. I would think THEY were insane for eating like birds, but maybe I am the one eating like a hippo. Do hippo’s eat meat? I can’t remember.
