I’m not sure it’s necessary to be this OCD about your weight loss. To put things in perspective, roughly 360mL of water weighs about 0.8 pounds. That’s not even one bottle of water. Your bodyweight is going to fluctuate from day to day based on how you’re feeling, how you’re sleeping, what you’re eating, what your sodium intake is like (take in a bunch of sodium and water retention will go up), not to mention things like how much water you drank that day, whether you’re all backed up and need to shit, and what you’re wearing. What’s important is the overall trend. As an example, I check my weight every time I workout, immediately afterwords, shoes off. But I don’t start worrying about the exact number until I get within a couple weeks of a competition (though I’m getting a little fat at the moment haha). That’s also partly because I’ll knock back 3-3.5L of fluid between about 30 minutes preworkout and finishing up. Either way, if you start getting stressed out because you’re up 0.2 pounds from the day before, I might recommend only checking your weight once a week. Don’t worry about the daily fluctuations, worry about the long term trend.[/quote]
I agree with this advice, but I’d bet money Spock doesn’t follow it
