The Valeria Workout

did this today just under the 30 minute mark at the very good level . 100kg for bench press , 10kg + bodyweight(94kg) . deadlift 160kg and bicepscurl 50kg .

thinking about it i should have started at the easier level but im just happy that i finished within´the allotted time and im going to give it another shot in 3 months time to see if i can cut the time some !

I gotta agree. It may be impressive (I do not know), but it belongs in the conditioning forum more than the bodybuilding one.

oops this was a mistake sorry prof x and all of you meatheads should have posted in conditioning forum my mistake !!

Lol, no problem man but no need to apologize Prof X directly, he’s not he dictator around here.

Anyways, yeah I’d say go a level below and see how you do time-wise. I think it’s a pretty good test, moreso on the case of strength than conditioning actually (because a lack of strength holds you back).

Tried this yesterday- was either this or a hurricane workout. Generally I like these kinds of workouts where a challenge is involved with strength vs. time. Crossfit has its place, but I get turned off pretty quickly doing round after round of bodyweight squats and ring dips. Or 95lbs thrusters and pullups. Im not built for strength (lanky mofo) but I dig testing my horsepower and not just my endurance…might not make much sense.
I also went with the ‘very good’ level-

225lbs bench
365lbs deadlift
35lbs + body weight pullups
110lbs curls

My bodyweight is around 203-207 depending on the day. Did it in 17:20 min/sec. After first set of pullups- the monkey jumped on my back… But it wasn’t as taxing as doing a complex IMO, which has me pouring sweat/sucking air.
