LOL. I don’t feel like anyone changed a ton. I think it just shows once you’ve been training a really long time it gets hard to make progress.

That said I do think I’m leaner with a little better shoulders, arms, and chest now. Slightly depressing that’s 5 years of training though.

For sure, especially if physique changes aren’t your priority but check back on your PRs from then until now though. No doubt they’ll be significant.

I was nervous as I scrolled down to look at my comparison photo from ā€˜17 to ā€˜21, because ā€˜17 was the leanest I’ve managed to get.
I will say, I’m not as disappointed as I thought I would be. Thanks for sharing, Chris.

In that time, strength has been the primary focus and I’ve managed a lot of a strength PRs since ā€˜17, so that’s a win.

It was hard picking just one person. I put all my picks in Word so I could compare. It’s cool that my picks are inline with others top pics. But THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE - Highlander

Impressive work everyone…now I need to grab some weights for the next 3 hours.

Same here. I have 2 kids now and muuuuch less time to train productively (basically have to fit it in after everyone else goes to the sleep when I’m dead tired) so it was kind of nice to see I have mostly held on to everything from back when I was training probably twice as much time wise.

Next year both kids will be in school to an extent so maybe I’ll really focus on the contest. But we all know that’s mostly diet related so maybe I don’t have as great an excuse as I like to think haha
