So…money is more important than pride and self-esteem?
He doesn’t exactly strike me as lacking pride or self esteem.
the people that hate him probably act like him. They are just mad cause they are not in the same situation.

He has multiple pairs because Reebok pays him thousands of dollars to wear free shoes. Thats why everyone has a pair now. “Sad” that people like you dont realize this…no matter who says it.

What is so sad about being paid THOUSANDS of dollars by one of the largest shoe companies in the world? Not because u are a famous athlete, but because the shoe comes in enough colors to match every outfit you own and millions of kids will buy them because you were on MTV wearing them. Thousands bro…thousands.

There’s nothing sad about endorsements! Hell, I’d love to be paid thousands and get free footwear. I understand it is very lucrative, but rampant product placement has always made me laugh a little bit.
When I said sad, I was thinking more of the content of the video from an exercise standpoint - but I guess I should have been a little more clear on that.
I could honestly care less what the Situation does. If he is making money - good for him.

The video is corny for sure. But its real hard to knock this dudes hustle. Hes making money. Sad but true i just saw a video of him buying his first Bentley. All done up by some custom car place out in cali. $300K +!!! no joke. “i make more than anderson silva.” he says. Fucking guy makes more than one of the highest paid mixed martial artists in the world. Lucky bastard.
So many haters. It’s like the hate with Justin Bieber…there was a thread here awhile back with grown men saying how much they hated him and how he was a faggot.
Who gives a shit? If these people tug on your emotions that much, there’s something wrong with you. You might not be as “alpha” as you think you are.

Point being?
Do you get four million for being a douche?
That’s my point.
I don’t understand why whenever this jackoff is brought up someone feels the need to declare he makes money.
Because we would all act like that for 4 million dollars a year…
Hell Id act like that for 75k a year Lol. According to TIME 75k is required to be pretty happy.
I don’t understand why whenever this jackoff is brought up someone feels the need to declare he makes money.
Should we bring up how many hot bitches he bangs instead?
What I don’t understand is why so many people hate on this guy. He’s just a dude making money, fuckin’ around taking advantage of his Situation…pun intended. It’s not like he’s selling crack or stealing money from old ladies.
Agreed. We are in a recession. Half of the guys in this country would trade places with this douche in a heartbeat considering his paycheck and randomly strewn ass headed his way.
But hey, Haterz gotta Hate.
I don’t know enough about the guy to hate him because I don’t spend my time watching him…but he’s doing better than just about everyone talking shit about him…and that goes for something.
Hell, I think Shia Labuff lacks talent…but he’s in a Transformers’s movie and I’,m not.
I think you’re off here. Lemme get this straight…according to the above, you could come away with the impression that you think the measure of a man is found in his earnings. Did that hold true for you when you made less than you do now? Does it hold true for you versus some random dude that makes more than you? Next, one might get the impression that “random ass strewn” your way would be desirable to everyone. I can say with complete confidence that no matter how hot the broad in question was, I would have zero interest in anyone that would have sex with “The Situation” or anyone like him.
Now, I get that he’s making money. But he’s making money the same way many reality “stars” are making money - and that’s by sacrificing their dignity and generally making fools of themselves. 20 years from now, when he’s 40, and his 15 minutes of fame has long past, his every misstep will be preserved forever. I think I’d rather have my dignity. He’s no more accomplished than the Kim Kardashians of the world. I think you’re too damn intelligent to measure someone by earnings, especially earnings that are ultimately as transient as this guy’s will be.

Well I was gonna say I hope the dude is at least being smart with his money but after reading your post I doubt it. I had read that he was a former real estate agent who lost his job when the housing market tanked a couple of years ago and had been doing personal training until getting his gig on tv.
Luckily I’m sure the haters can hate on him some more in a year or 2 when it hits on tmz that he is filing for bankrupcy.

when you will see your 9 years old daugther turn into an hysterical rabid little monster because of Justin Bieber, you will understand how and why grown men can hate him.
From being a Trainer at Bally Total Fitness in fucking East Brunswick, NJ to making millions. I gotta say Im happy for the guy, and now I KNOW HIS SECRETS he he he…

True. I don’t have kids, but it’s pretty clear that Bieber is reviled because he’s a pop droid singing songs about eternal love written by adults, but aimed at pre-teen girls.
The 'do was probably laboratory tested to appeal to tweenies. He’s like a malevolent version of D.A.R.Y.L.

(Over?) Confidence and self-belief count for a lot these days; they are largely the reason why he is where he is now. Most of his fortune comes from promotional deals, but he wouldn’t have been offered those deals if he hadn’t established an image in reality TV first…an image built on swagger and cockiness.
I personally believe that he’s walking the line of self-parody: I started to watch the trailer but stopped when he said “gluteUM maximus”. I can’t say if that’s deliberate, but he is the protein vodka guy.

The sad thing is that whoever buys a certain product based on Sitch lending his name and image to that brand is buying it because of him and his appeal, so there are people out there who admire him for qualities other than being minted.
He wouldn’t have landed those endorsements if there weren’t an abundance of people out there who are either like him or aspire to be like him.
He doesn’t strike me as someone in possession of great depth, but maybe that’s my cynical side talking.
