Ahhh moderation is the key…
Yep. That’s why I’m high right now?
Moderation is a relative term anyways. My friends think I’m crazy for spending 5 hours a week in the gym. They have literally DEFINED me by those 5 hours. It’s rather humorous, because if 5 hours a week is enough to define someone, then most people in today’s society are the couch potatoes three times over. I include myself in this couch potato category, because I sit around and read/eat/study for the overwhelming majority of my free time.
I read about a study in a mountain bike magazine years ago that thc helps you have a higher longer peak (VO2 max or anaerobic or whatever) when doing endurance activities. I used to smoke weed daily back then.
So on a good long ride we would smoke a bowl before we started. It takes longer to warm up, but once I was warmed up and the cottonmouth was gone(15 minutes or so) I could keep going and going.
We’d usually smoke another bowl at the highest elevation of the trail and then blast down the hill “in the zone” I smoked weed and cigarettes back then and I could outride everyone in our group and hang with several top teir racers. I got burned out on it though and I haven’t smoked weed in years, so I don’t know how it would affect weightlifting.
I would assume warm up on a bike or something and then see how you perform in the weight room.

just because you have a pick of arnold SMOKING ONCE does not mean it smoked all the time. that really could of been a one time thing
Weed helps you relax, helps you get in the food you need, helps you get to sleep (all though the sleep you get may not be as quality)
Those are three MAJOR benefits, and I do mean major benefits. If you arent eating enough, or never seem to get enough sleep, you can pretty much kiss your gains good bye. No one is getting big without eating more, no one is recovering without sleep, helping you relax is just icing on the cake.
I think that weed when used correctly kicks the ever living shit out of all other natural bodybuilding or powerlifting supplements. And if used properly can lead to some awesome gains. A vaporizer is best to use tho.
To me weed primes my body to gain. Its like when I smoke weed I can pack a full days worth of recovery into a few hours. Think about it, while your high your eating a ton, your completely relaxed, and you probably end up falling asleep afterwards.
more sleep
more food
more relaxing
what could be better for bodybuilding?
It also raises your heart rate so perhaps that in its self may even help recovery.
Guess again. And think a little harder, dude…what am I referring to again!!!

THIS is a lifestyle, brother…you consider giving it up, then GIVE IT UP and don’t look back. You’re either in…or you ain’t, don’t half ass it.
Thats all I have to say…and I believe it isn’t clear what I am referring to!
Your one of those guys yelling “feel the burn” at the top of your lungs at your buddy at the gym aren’t you…
The only real thing I’m worried about as far as health implications are concerned is burning off cilia for protective, mucousy cells that help protect from throat and lung cancer. As Kaze once said, though, “There’s six million ways to die, and I choose one.”
Let me make this clearer, since you’e “coasting” at the moment.
“Lifting weights is your vice, pot is your life.
Be good to the steel, and never 'dis the weed.”
Set the bar ‘high’, brother…and never come down.

As for the do it right, by the weights I am moving (with perfect form I must add) I think its clear I am in it…
Every one has a vice or two. To what extreme the damage is,is dependent on the abuse.
Funny how moderation is not key to moving crazy weights!
