Damnit, I know I have to stop smoking green for my health but I don’t want to damnit! I gave up cigarettes but mary jane is my friend! I need to stop caking up my lungs with resin.

Ill just finnish up this little bit of kush… It smells sooooooo fruitly delicous folks, sorry I’m just high. Mhhhhhhh

When I smoke, I can’t lift real heavy, but I like to rep shit out. there’s nothing better than cruisin’ a few blizzies then going and doing some fucking crazy shit for your arms. I used to do that all the time and go lift and do like 4x drop sets of preacher curls ss with tri. pushdowns. not only does it lower my stress, but I believe it has helped with a lot of growth in my arms.

The day I went in to do legs blazed was the day I learned what it feels like to want to puke and be hungry at the same time.

Everything in moderation guys.

I enjoy it, but anything is bad for you if abused.

Get a vaporizer if you’re worried about your lungs.

I’m not too worried about it. I figure I have a couple more years until I’m really even going to be starting my career anyway. I’ll have to stop then, so fuck it, I’m just getting permastoned before then.

Let’s put it this way: Since it doesn’t affect my work (I’ve been smoking on the upswing of about 5-6 years,) why WOULDN’T I go into work high?

I smoke everyday, and often hit it before a workout.

The BS about affecting one’s Testosterone levels is just that, BS.

Your one of those guys yelling “feel the burn” at the top of your lungs at your buddy at the gym aren’t you…

I’ve read that marijuana favors the parasympathetic nervous system, which is fantastic for trying to recover. That’s why some of the biggest, strongest dudes in history frequently smoked.

I don’t do it for my own reasons, but if you were looking for the perfect weight-lifting lifestyle. . .

Weed helps you relax, helps you get in the food you need, helps you get to sleep (all though the sleep you get may not be as quality)

Those are three MAJOR benefits, and I do mean major benefits. If you arent eating enough, or never seem to get enough sleep, you can pretty much kiss your gains good bye. No one is getting big without eating more, no one is recovering without sleep, helping you relax is just icing on the cake.

I think that weed when used correctly kicks the ever living shit out of all other natural bodybuilding or powerlifting supplements. And if used properly can lead to some awesome gains. A vaporizer is best to use tho.

To me weed primes my body to gain. Its like when I smoke weed I can pack a full days worth of recovery into a few hours. Think about it, while your high your eating a ton, your completely relaxed, and you probably end up falling asleep afterwards.

more food
more relaxing

what could be better for bodybuilding?

It also raises your heart rate so perhaps that in its self may even help recovery.

…and not only that, but when you get home from a great workout, what’s better than packing a fat bowl and eating some wonderful post-workout food?

I can make great strength and size gains whilst smoking pretty much every day. Sadly, my fitness does suffer though

Ya know I while I don’t doubt that weed can lower testosterone levels in some fashion I really have to wonder just how much it matters.

People say we should’nt eat soy because itll lower test levels, or drink things out of plastic bottles/cups, not to mention all the big bad chemical xenoestrogens lurking around.

Alchohol has been equally villanized as a “dangerously” catabolic substance.
As with a lot of things in the bodybuilding community, it seems to me that the people who decry weed and say you should never smoke seem to have gotten a little carried away with the whole shebang.

While it could be counterproductive to my gains, I really dont see how smoking with my buddies once or twice on the weekend is going to ruin everything. Moderation is key.
