I use frozen spinach or broccoli in mine. The spinach doesn’t affect the taste or texture at all. The broccoli seems to make the shake foamy.
Almond butter does sound good. I mentioned it doesn’t follow the carbs+fat rule, but then I said fek it cuz it sounded like it tasted so good.
If I recall correctly, Berardi said you didn’t have to completely eliminate C/F in the meal, just not have a lot. I guess just make sure the ratio is small :).

They taste good thats for damn sure, I havven’t had them in forever though, now I want some.
On another note, I started scrambling some leftover 80/20 ground beef into my eggs the last couple of days, I forgot how awesome the two go together. Some good seasoned ground beef gives off that nice fatty flavor in the eggs. Very excellent for scrambling and omelette’s.
Swole, that mix is very good. I do it every once in a while.
On another note, I made my Anabolic Pumpkin Pie a la GetSwole today! Guys, let me tell you, it’s completely simple to make, and tastes amazing! I followed Swole’s recipe, except I did NOT use any splenda/sugar- I just put cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice on it. I cooked it at 375 for about 25 min. It tastes great. You guys have to give it a go. The nutrient breakdown of my pie is the following:
Protein: 87.0g
Carb: 77.5g
Fat: 13.5g
Fiber: 16g
Cals: 780
Probably has a little more protein, because I put a little more than 2 scoops of Grow! in. I made this without a crust(after consulting with Swole; I originally thought he made it with a crust) so the carbs aren’t bad at all. I am going to take this with me to the airport tomorrow, and I’m going to eat it on the plane. It’ll be a nice little meal :). I highly recommend you guys try this!
SO this week I’ve been scrambling leftover 80% lean ground beef into my eggs (its already been seasoned with garlic and southwest chipotle seasoning)
Damn I forgot how good beef and eggs are together…gonna have to start eating them together regularly again,

Yeh I actually just ordered two containers of Surge a few weeks ago adn still had a partial…then I decided to start teh AD ahhaha so I’m saving it for my carb up days which fall on my last workout of the week…anyway no Surge for me.
I think I’m just gonna stick to some supplements this time around, I have some other stuff going with protein and have some Metabolic Drive and Grow! Whey so I’m good there.
Anyway want to chime in and tell me their results and how the like the Alpha Male + REZ-V stack…Don’t bother giving me the GS your only 18 you dont need a t-booster speal. I’m not set on buying them I’m really just interested in exploring all options…

So I overcooked about a pound and a half of broccoli today and I hate eating mushy broccoli…so I made a shake.
1.5lb broccoli (less after cooked)

lots of cinnamon
*Not exactly a great taste but hey, atleast I’ll be getting 2 servings of veggies at breakfast this week compared to 0 usually.

I’ve taken Alpha Male with good results in the past, except for the bacne. I’m prone to acne (had it real bad in my early teens), so I guess this is good news that it definitely works. Also, I just started using the BCAAs and they are definitely the real deal. Dosing them peri-workout is a nice little addition.
Yeh BCAAs help my recovery and strength gains quite nicely I already use them.
Your shake sounds like something I did the other day, overcooked broccoli and just threw it in with Grow! and some ice and cinnamon and stuff…it didn’t taste very good.

1/2 cup pumpkin
4 whole eggs
3 scoops Metabolic Drive (banana cream)
apple pie spice
Put batter into muffin baking sheet. This makes 4 “muffins” with 20 grams of protein each. I like to freeze them and then spread some peanut butter on top. Fucking goodness.
One 1/2 cup of egg protein, 1/2 cup of whey protein, 1/2 cup of blueberries, 2 cups of vanilla ice cream and one cup of whole milk, now that’s a protien shake. Some of you guys need help. I like to enjoy the food I eat or drink.
