The Kali Muscle Story

Once again, good question…and I am still wondering why someone like infiniteshore would think we shouldn’t discuss Kali at all…and why that mindset is accepted all here.

Making fun of Natural Bodybuilding:

 1. You don’t even look like you lift, I looked like that when I was 16.

 2. You’re really impressive in your size medium shirt with abs, I bet you do the same program as Taylor Lautner.

 3. You do know that you have to eat to grow, right?

 4. So you stalled after 3 years of lifting? LOL!! I put on 40lbs lbm by then and I’ll be running another cycle expecting to add another 15. Why don’t you just quit? At least then you’ll have an excuse for looking normal.

 5. You must have really shitty genetics.

Ok, someone else’s turn!

What positives does he bring to the table that all the other PRO bbers + other information sources don’t already deliver in a better way?
Perhaps, but I haven’t seen one video in which the guy says anything of any consequence on training or nutrition. But then again , you have a point because so few do anyway these days. And who can blame the makers of these videos. Other than information for noobs, there’s nothing else to say these days. Supplements don’t deliver magic. Getting big involves eating enough protein and calories. Cutting down requires more activity and caloric restriction. In a nutshell, there’s nothing left to say; hence we see You Tube circle jerks and other shenanigans involving calling out liars (natty vs. drug aided), and discussing training and eating as if they are as sophisticated as Talmud interpretation or physics and guys making videos of daily activities such as walking around a grocery store or eating food in a kitchen.
Ya, I’m not quite as cynical, but I pretty much agree. We aren’t reinventing the wheel here folks.
But it still doesn’t answer the question…

If everything has been said and done…why is it seen as useless to discuss this lifter at all?
I don’t think it’s useless. I think everyone can learn something from him. Just like you could learn something from Stu, Stu could learn something from you, and I could learn something from both of you.

We all have at least 1 thing to offer.

I like how much he emphasizes the value of eating and busting your ass over worrying about supplements and the “perfect routine”. His online persona/presence helps get this message to the youtube generation.

How am I supposed to know what you could learn from him?

This thread is mind numbing.

What I took away from Kali Muscle:

 1. People can improve/change.

 2. You don’t need the best circumstances to get big/shredded, you just need drive, determination, and time.

 3. Anyone can become popular on Youtube.

 4. Its ok to lie if it protects your self-interest. poke

I’m saying he or anyone really shouldn’t just be dismissed because there are, “Better BBs,” (according to some, but that haven’t been named yet) Out there.

I mean should we ignore Lou Ferrigno because Arnold beat him? Or Columbu since he was in Arnold’s shadow basically his whole career?

Personally the reason I dismiss him is because I hate his loud personality. Doesn’t that mean I wouldn’t be able to possibly learn something no just means I can listen long enough for that to happen. I’d rather learn from others who convey the same information but in a better more well thought out manner. Personal preference. And since I feel I need to spell everything out so I don’t get called out for hating on him…I respect what he has accomplished. He is a beast as I have said multiple times

If you don’t like Kali and don’t want to listen that 100% fine.

All I did was ask that other guy who if not Kali. That’s all I did. How all this other BS happened is a mystery to me.

To the above post I agree its individual.

No idea who others like to listen to but for me. You need to have worked hard and accomplished a lot and be able,to speak coherently and back up why you did what you did. Some scientific stuff helps just because I think that’s fun.

I find generally it’s because communication on the internet is based on sarcasm and snarkiness. Almost every post someone makes contains some barb thrown in purely for the intent to either insult or aggravate the person they are speaking to. Conversations are viewed as a battle, where “victory” is achieved by saying the most insulting thing to or about the other side.

I’ve been guilty of it as well. These days, I do my best to knock it off. If I find myself writing a post that’s only purpose is to be caustic, I just delete it and close the window.

Best post. Acting like you can’t learn anything from someone like that has to be the height of arrogance especially when coming from people who have never come close to that kind of size.

Ignoring him completely because you think there are other people out there better is a little ridiculous.
