I honestly believe I’d rather be big and soft if it means I look bigger in a t-shirt!
Granted that may change one day if I ever lean out though (or I actually tan from this melanotan II stuff!)
I also had to google IIFYM…

People don’t give the basic lifts enough time before they decide ‘it doesn’t work for me’. Fair call in some cases it doesn’t, but if you can’t front squat and bench press your bodyweight for 5 reps, you can’t make that call yet imo.
IIFYM works and ‘clean eating’ is misleading. What makes one food ‘clean’ and one food ‘dirty’?
I was (a little) heart broken when I found out that almost EVERYONE that gets any face time in the fitness industry, or is at the top of the strength ladder, is on drugs. If you know who they are because of their physique or their lifting total… Chances are they are on drugs.
For mass gains, I dont think program hopping is that big of a deal… Hard training is hard training, your body doesn’t care if you were doing Mountain Dog this week, then switched to 5/3/1 with BBing assistance work, then did DogCrapp. If you are busting your ass your body will grow. Maybe not optimally, but you will grow.
For mass, you could do NOTHING but machine work and still make optimal gains, probably even better gains.
Most natural trainees approach their maximum size/leanness after about 3-5 years of hard, consistent training… Then from there its just a trickle of gains every year, almost indistinguishable from maintaining when taken year to year.

YES!
Oh my squat sucks, I must not be built for squatting. Woe is me.
Get squatting and stop being such a little poof
Great thread!
Flame free zone ehh?
I think T-Nation authors who don’t look they train are hypocrites.
The current state of bodybuilding is disgusting.
Dexter Jackson looked much better at a lighter weight
I hate leg day(due to injuries)
Most bodybuilders are shitty fighters
I didn’t bang a smoking hot physique competitor one night because i got to drunk.
I didn’t bang a female BB obviously on gear because of her jaw line…lol
I think Cult personality worshiping is for sheep.
I don’t give a fuck what people do at the gym. Their actions do not concern me.
I think Rip is a clever salesmen and Rip worshipers are dumb asses.
I drink beer and I love it.
I rarely speak to anyone in the gym. Bullshiting is for after the work is done.
-I’d be much stronger and healthier if I focused on leg presses, lunges, and RDLs instead of squats
-Pullups are not better or more hardcore than pulldowns. There is a bit more ab involvement in pullups and you can’t be fat to do them.
-I wish early on people would talk about body positioning and what muscles are being used, i.e. 100% of the time a good lat movement is one that has your elbows moving through a pullover path
-People who can’t do pullups are way too fat and/or weak
-fish oil is by far the best supplement. Grassfed/pasture products are largely a waste of $$$ if you’re taking in a handful of fish oil caps daily
-Milk is awesome. Maybe this has to do with my ancestry
-whoever convinced me that I needed 30 grams protein every 2-3 hours, no carbs after 6 PM, and fast carbs after training, should be sued
-isolation and bodybuilding type moves are great for getting stronger. if your chest is stronger in a DB fly, then that strength will transfer over easily in a bench press.

Not sure if serious but I will oblige.
100 - Band dislocates daily, varying on the grip width from wider to narrower.
50-100 - thumbs in pullaparts thumbs out pullaparts using long minis and light long bands 4 times per week.
10 rotations of shoulder tornadoes 3 times per week.
High Rep Facepulls 3 times per week

100% serious, thanks man.
I’ve been to 3 ortho docs, had one cortisone injection, and have an mri scheduled. I have been doing internal and external shoulder exercise for a couple years now.
My shoulder gets really shaky during heavy bench pressing. This causes lots of pain in the acrimon. Around my scapula is constantly inflamed.
I would definitely recommend the above, I stopped flat benching all together because of shoulder pain. When I started to compete I had to figure out a way to get my shoulder healthier to bench and it worked wonders. I will also mention changing my bench to a more PLer style helped as well.

Same here I quit barbell benching about a year ago due to shoulder pain. Worked my way up to 95 x10 db flat still with lots of pain. If I stick to 70lbs and under now I can still train my chest. Thanks.

Seriously though… The list would be much easier to compile if it was who I believed to be really natty.
