NOT AGAIN! Hows the ego holding up?

I love my wife dont get me wrong…BUT damn. Even though she has been to all my competitions over the years. Shes never actually present for any actually lifting session except on a few occasions in the past when I asked her to call depth on squats with some singles. She finds it odd that i am tired or sore after a session since so and so husband works out and he never is. Yeah and her friends husband might bench 185 for a few reps and doesnt squat or pull.

Yea tell me about it. Today our professor did all the arcsine arcosine and tangent stuff, which I actually did understand, and then mentioned we can use our calculators on the test, and I probably just saved myself 30 whole minutes on our first exam thanks to the Ti-Inspire calculators we have that’ll solve whatever inverse you plug in.
But I get it now.
So for example say I have sin^2+cos^2/sin. I’m asked to evaluate.
In simplest form I could say 1/sin. Yea?
Swear if I got that correct, you’re more helpful than my professor with a PhD. Lol
Spent a weekend in the mountains with 10 friends - 5 couples all away from our children from the weekend - we all arrived to find blue t-shirts waiting for us with #brofreewill on the back, and sharpies to record how many beers we drank (like the It’s Always Sunny episode) on the front. Played music, drank beer, ate good food, played tons of cornhole and pool, and tripped absolute BALLS on LSD while watching the sunset, and have no regrets about it.
The guy who brought the LSD is a total hippie and would NOT STOP LEAVING PILES OF ACID EVERYWHERE IN THE HOUSE. I was trying to make a burger and almost put the meat down in a pile of acid. His wife began to argue with him that he was taking too much, and he’s like,
“Baby I’m done, don’t worry.”
“Oh yeah? DO YOU HAVE A PIECE IN YOUR MOUTH RIGHT NOW?”
“Well yeah, just a little one…”
Acid heads are truly a breed apart. I used to like tripping every now and then but there’s always one that takes it to the next level.
To his credit, he did take multiple rides on a skateboard/surfboard hybrid that allows you to ride on grass, down a steep part of the mountain that was outside the cabin, and he did it at night using a headlamp to see the way while we all cheered him on. He was also still tripping. I mean, while that definitely qualifies as “taking it too far”, he’s not a useless person like some acid heads, he’s a ridiculously hard worker, a good father, and has built a comfortable life for himself in his mid-30s…he just happens to be a crazy motherfucker when he parties.
I think a friend actually took a video of his night run and I may just post it here if I get ahold of it. Was very sweet.
Oh yeah, I wasn’t making a value judgement. Just by comparison that " I feel like this from 2 hits. NO WAY I’m taking two more!".
One old buddy of mine was like a stunt man with that.
If sin^2+cos^2 was the numerator and sin the denominator (ie sin^2+cos^2 both “over” sin), then yes
Since we’re on trig, I used inverse tangent yesterday to make sure some bearings were within their alignment tolerance. It was AWESOME!
As an example, yea. Okay that makes sense. So it’s pretty much simplifying.
do you remember all those times you’d swallowed some pills or whatever, and you’re like “damn I swallowed those two hours ago and nothing! I know - I’ll take 4 more…”

Yeah i read somewhere about protein oats on a tnation articlr so today i put a scoop of protein in my oats and mixed it together. It was disgusting… i don’t think that’s what your meant to do ![]()
I blend my oats with protein, banana and milk as a preworkout meal. Taste pretty good depending on protein flavor. If you microwaved it I can’t imagine it tasting well.
Protein oats is the reason I get out of bed every morning
Jezuzzz a scoop of whey protein and 200g of oats with some berries, mix with water, let it set overnight then microwave it the next morning
It’s like heaven on my tounge

I now start my deadlift days with leg presses because the lifting platform is right in front og the leg press and there’s a hottie who, without fail, is doing RDLs there when I turn up.
I then start deadlifting and she goes to the leg press and the real fun begins.
