The Fitness New Age

I am willing to bet this applies to many businesses and professions today.

Of course - all sorts of media jobs (advertising, PR, film), fashion, music, beauty industry, decor.

Yup, when I see people sharing HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of selfies–many of which show silly facial expressions–barking and bellowing, bragging, attention whoring, and saying and doing dumb shit, I feel negative emotion. You know, similar to your negative emotion you made this thread about, the negative emotion you feel when people make irreverent remarks about four barking and bellowing and fidgeting jacked guys.

Where did I say posing for a camera in underwear is intellectually stunting? I actually consider tasteful photography of semi-nude or fully nude bodies to be art, whether it be a male body or a female body.

Barking, bellowing and fidgeting jacked guys.

Before you wrote this:

Was this some remark about competitive bodybuilding as a whole? If so, are you insulting the intellect of those with that goal? How do you know anything about Dugdale or Dorian on a personal level?

SOME of them. If all goes well, I want to do a physique or bodybuilding show in the next year and I have some level headed, responsible close friends who compete or want to compete who aren’t intellectually stunted.

You looked at hundreds or thousands of scantily clad jacked dudes selfies?

Um…

Ok…

And women’s.

Hard to miss if you ever look at social media in fitness. Is this even possible to avoid?

WTF? You can look at SOME of any group but using that SOME as some platform to rant about an entire activity makes no sense.

Your comments here seem to judge a level of intellect based on…what exactly?

If this is in reference to posing for a homosexual, how does that relate to their intellect?

Man, a woman I grew up with and is on my FB feed started competing in figure in NPC. She placed well in the regional and is doing a national in the next few months.

The selfies are awesome.

Sorry about that. I should have wrote many, because they are many.

Arnold was approached by a gay gym owner and offered money and a job and housing etc to do some gay shit. Arnold said he considered it in his autobiography.

It was a great book and he sounds like an inspirational and intelligent dude. Up until he says he supported the vietnam war, acts as though black people are poorer because of personal chooses with no other influences.

Humorous parts include his escape from the military for a show, his family having nazi books and stuff and the army coming and taking them, frolicking at the lake with a bunch of buff austrians and when he says how basically everything from pumping Iron was staged and he pretended he didn’t go back for his dads funeral as part of some tunnel vision dedication, when in fact it was because he heard late and simply did not have time to arrive back.

Arnold also makes himself sound like a victim in getting his maid pregnant, which was pretty epic.

Great book overall.

I’ll definitely check it out.

I guess you would know…after researching thousands of selfies.

I personally don’t see it much at all aside from a decade old grapefruit and Kai Greene in a Lucha Libre mask.

Profesor X. In your personal opinion, if you had to guess, would you say you think CT was natural or enhanced?

I would say I don’t care…because my mind doesn’t work like that.

I know what it takes to look like that at that age…and you can’t buy it.

There is no way in hell I would ever be so disrespectful as to openly ask him on a public forum. That is another act that seems odd…following big guys around to question if they are natural openly.

And yet you started an entire thread to the fact that other people admit (albeit in their own sometimes arguably disrespectful manners) that they in fact do care whether certain individuals who thrust themselves into the public spotlight are actually what they make claim to be.

So in other words yes you do but you don’t want to say so as acknowledging the obvious will go against your construct that steroids aren’t responsible for his size, and anyone his size.

Your mind doesn’t work like? critically and without bias? Because your stance is like arguing that Ashlee Simpson does not lip sync while witnessing this at a concern you took your girl to.

I started a discussion with those people who care…and it has turned into a decent discussion.

If you don’t like it…why log in to tell me?

I think basing everything you think about the effectiveness of a style training on if the person is natural or not is a poor way to see things.

I described why here in detail.

? There is nothing “obvious” to me about CT Fletcher and steroid use. I also do not base my inspiration on whether someone uses steroids or not alone.
