.

  • EZ curl: 27,5 kg @ 10, 18 + 10 + 6 rest pause

.

48 minutes + 10 minutes warm up.

.

95 kg and the single at 105 was good, I could feel it was heavy today.

Managed 5 ugly reps on the topset, this is actually an old rep PR, at this weight.

Next cycle I’ll keep the weight for squat. Goal 11, 9 and 6 reps.

DL was good. I think you would be able to see a pause on every rep, not a long pause, just a stop and then move on.

Closing in on 10 reps on pull ups, the last two sets I am really fatigued from deadlift.

Ring dips are even closer to 10 reps across.

I’ve been adding a single rep or two every workout so far, so I am very pleased.

The steaks yesterday were awesome, we had sliced potatoes baked in cream with mozzarella on top with it a great salat as well. Good wine and a G&T after. Great evening.

Good lifting my man.

Those are some strong pull up numbers. I can only hit multiple sets of 10 if I do them first.

One does not simply NOT count ribeye cap.

Thanks J, yeah I’m getting a bit of a kick out of it.
I think this is the strongest I’ve been in pull ups. Something is moving, but not the big ones… yet.

@guineapig @flappinit what is a ribeye cap and picanha?
I probably could google it, but I’m lazy tonight.

Sweet! Cooking some ribeyes for my wife’s birthday dinner tonight. Then watching that Johnny Cash biopic ā€œWalk the Lineā€ with Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon.

A generic cut rib eye has the eye and the cap like two different parts of the meat/muscle. They are usually served together as one steak but the cap is the tastier part of the ribeye in every way so one can easily cut it off and eat it separately. Not commonly sold because the demand isn’t there for butchers to split the rib eye.

Picanha has a couple of names but again is a more specific and less common cut. Big flavour and tenderness when cooked right

@guineapig and I could describe it all day, but there is only one way to understand it, and it’s costly.

I’m getting pretty bored in quarantine and businesses are doing Australian Wagyu delivered…

Is it just me, or has anyone ever answered the question of, ā€œhow do you want to die?ā€ as, ā€œby ribeye.ā€ ??

There might have been a few i guess.

Ohh that’s the cap, that indeed is a good tasting piece of the steak.
I’ve never seen it sold alone though.

  • 1 x 82,5 kg

  • 5 x 82,5 kg + 8 x 67,5 kg dropset

OHP

  • 5 x 10 @ 35 kg

  • Bench ab tuck 6 x 18 reps

Giantset

  • DB Bent reverse delt raise: 10 kg’s, 3 x 18 reps

  • push up: 15, 15, 15

  • KB swing 3 x 22 @ 16 kg

.

46 minutes + 5 minutes warm up.

Pretty good bench day, only got 5 on the topset, but felt good and maybe had another in me. I did 8 on the dropset, wich indicates I didn’t go all out on the first.

OHP 10 reps on all sets first 3 was fine, 4 had to fight for the last, 5, a little leg drive on the 9’th rep and a full all out ugly push press on the last, still struggling to lock the bar out… but got it.

Can’t believe you guys doing deep water manage 10 sets, that is sick.

Assistance and giantset was good as well.

Finished chest with 2 sets of band chest press thing.
