@simo74 @whang thanks for the concern guys, I’m fine.
I’ve been hit by life and all sorts of commitments.
Still committed though, 7 days to test week.
Going to be wearing a heart monitor for the next week, hopefully I can still lift.
Will probably be away for a while, but you’ll never know.
I’m sorry I’ve missed everybodys log for the past weeks, when I find a space in life I’ll be back.

Still around. Still committed. Holding weight at around 78 kg.
Last week of the Maxer routine.
Friday or saturday I’ll do my max test pretty exited.
Did a single at around 75% today it felt fast and strong. And I wanted to put on more weight, but didn’t.
Since I came back from my summer vacation at the start of august I’ve only missed 1 day of working out so I would say that’s pretty committed.
Hope you’re all good, and focused.
When I get back to a more relaxed schedule I’ll go through all the logs I’m following… I think I’ll skip to the end.

Well the end of the maxer program ended in a bit of a disaster.

Monday I felt quite strong and fast on the singles at about 75% wednesday the singes at 70% felt a bit slow.

So friday was the big day, I’ve followed the program to the T, just missing out on one workout.

So warmed up feeling pretty good.
Squat ended with a nice 120 kg I might even have had a bit more in me. So pleased with that…
Bench 95 kg was good, so 100 kg next… got it an inch of the chest… bugger.
Deadlift 160 kg was quite slow and heavy, was certain I had the 167,5 kg pull, got it off the floor and a couple of inches more before my low back gave in. Gave it another try, but this time the sucker was clued to the floor.

Goal was:
Squat: 120 and maybe beyond on the squat - did a high 130 a year ago. So pleased.
Bench: 100 with ease, have done that several times including one a year ago.
Deadlift: 175 - 180 kg I did a 170 kg singe a year ago.

Admitted I’ve lost 12 kg body weight during the first half of the year, but I’m still a bit disappointed.

Gonna put my head down for the last weeks of the year and work hard three days a week for three weeks deload one week and give it a shot by the start of the year.

You lost 12 kgs and gained strength, technique and confidence and you’re disappointed? For me that’s a win!

Don’t be disappointed. You lost a big chunk of weight.

Mark is right mate. You are heaps lighter, you put in all the work and 2 pit of three went ok.

Just to maintain strength levels and to have dropped 25 lbs is an awesome accomplishment man! I’d be holding my head high dude…

Thanks for chiming in, despite me being absent for a long time now.
I know you’re right guys, I’ll try to do something silly the next three weeks and see what happens around new year.
In my head I think I should have handled some heavier weight in the start of the peaking phase and by the end of it, maybe my body got surprised by the weight and shot down.
