I have tried some light weight sumo’s and didn’t like them. Felt like I had nothing off the floor. You guys sure do make me feel like I am missing something though.
Headin off to Japan friday. Been sick and had a shitty couple sessions. No big deal, I’ll shake it off. Since I’ll be training alone, I’ll prob try some stuff I wouldn’t normally, including a couple weeks giving sumo DL’s a chance. I curled 195x5 easy as fuck today wooooo! 205x5 next sesh! I’m glad I started doing BB curls again this month, makes it so much fun when I set up in the bench area and curl more than the other kids bench

H4M, I saw awhile back that you did 405x16 on BB rows, how much momentum are you using on those? One reason I really don’t like most unsupported rows is because I feel like as I add weight my form just gets shittier. This happens to my with BB rows, yates rows, cable rows, etc…

English is fine, sacrificing an arched spine is not, yknow?
They look like Ronnie’s 585 rows, except with 2 less plates on each side lol. If your back stays straight/spine neutral position, that isn’t “shitty” form, it’s looser form, which is acceptable on certain back exercises.

For someone weighing 150lbs isn’t that bad? Been eating steak and yams like crazy before my workouts! GOT TO EAT MORE! Today’s workout I ate a whole large pepperoni pizza to carb up.

Well dude! I didn’t have yams before it, that’s my secret. I usually do two pop tarts but was out. Will try the oats for Fridays leg workout. Hour before good enough timing?

I usually do 50g whey and 1/2 cup oats blended up 1 hr before my workout and then again 30 mins before my workout.
