Irish,
What do you make of this?
Will it affect Hatton much?
Looks like he’ll be staying with the same camp so it shouldn’t effect him much. I’m still hoping for delahoya v hatton. Can’t see to many other
big name fights out there for hatton apart from pac-man.
yeah mayweather paid his dues for sure although his retirement is premature in legacy terms. If it is as a result of hand injuries fair enough but otherwise it drops his stock IMO. Mayweather is the best out there without a doubt. All the talk of ducking was ridiculous.

Just looking back over the last month and I’m still thinking ‘ouch’ when I watch the Khan KO.
Still loving those Marquez combos on Casamayor and wishing he and Eric M would have got it on…
HAhahah. I missed that fight, but Marquez truly is a gifted fighter. The old fucker Casamayor was out of his league.
I still think Marquez won the second Pacquiao fight.
Khan got starched. I want to see more of the Colombian kid that laid him out!
Marquez has done nothing but enhance his legacy the last few years. Casamayor has definitely declined but nobody beat his ass the way JMM did.
It sure was fun to see Sugar Shane plant that idiot Mayorga in the last round. I’d love to see Mosley fight Margarito, but with the rematch against Cotto coming, it’s going be at least a year before it could happen, and Shane will be 38. Margarito is a lot to handle at any age.

Rumour has it that DLH may be fighting Pacquiao in a superfight, not confirmed yet but talks are in the works so it’s a possibility.
This is not a rumor. They are fighting Dec 6th in Vegas.

Ah, great news. Last I hear it was just being “discussed”.
Pacquiao is an interesting choice for De La Hoya. I think that he may be too big for Manny. Time will tell.
anyone watch the juan manuel lopez fight this weekend. is he the real deal or what, two fights in a row without being touched. if he is on the pacman -dlh undercard i may have to watch just for that.
Oscar is way bigger than Manny I think it’s kinda a punk move on his part not fighting a legit welterweight. Still, Oscar still might lose even though I think you have to make him the favorite. I doubt Oscar will even make 147 I hope Freddy Roach keeps his word and cancels the fight if Oscar doesn’t make weight.

I guess if he figures that since he can’t beat (and now dosen’t even really have a chance to) the real #1 P4P best, he’ll go for the second, undersized one.
I think it will be interesting to see how Klitschko’s age and absence from training will help him fighting the one guy that made him hit the canvas two or three times (more or less illegally, but still).
You mean Vladimir with the glass jaw, not Vitali.
Vitali has (had?)a decent chin as seen in his bout against Lennox.
While most people always saw more talent in the younger brother, older Vitali had way more ferocity and toughness. Whatever Talent is, it crumbles before these two guys.
Evander’s comeback is truly bizarre but it’s something can expect to see more often.
Therapy and drugs are way better then thirty years ago.
Top athletes feel longer young with good designer hormones and can often recover well from old ailments. And they smell the potential cash.

I heard Oscar is going to fight in the Special Olympics next year because he feels the competition is really coming along nicely, and one of the trainers said he didn’t think Oscar could hook anymore.
Am I the only person who dosen’t think La Hoya is a coward?
I think he’s fighting pacman for the money. And I think he fought Mayweather for similar reasons.
v. klitscko just handed sam peter an 8 round BEATING, peter quit on his stool before the 9th round. dont think peter landed one shot, while big bro klit used peter as a heavy bag!!!
two brothers simultaneous heavyweight champions of the world!!!
