Everything the same day or not?
Define everything LOL. If you want to max on squat, bench and deadlift in the same session, then good luck and godspeed.
Unless you are trying to do a Mach competition I would not Max out on everything in one session. I suggest Max on squat on your lower day bench on your upper day and the following week Max on deadlift.

This. If you do more than one on the same day, you will most likely sacrifice a couple pounds on the second lift.

This…
Why not do everything on the same day? Powerlifters do this multiple times a year. Just be smart about it.
Uhhh if you are a powerlifter test em all in one day… Mimics a meet and lets you know how much your bench/deadlift suffer from previous lifts. Be sure and take your time and drink a shitload of half strength gatorade.
is this ok
Monday - squat
Wednesday - bench
next Monday - deadlift
Is it too little time between squat and bench?
Seriously LOL at everyone being baffled at someone trying to max all in the same day.
Correct me if I am wrong, but we are in the POWERLIFTING section.
Fucking Squat up to the heaviest single you can, rest Bench up to the highest single you can, rest, pull to the heaviest Deadlift you can.
BAM this shits crazy

Why are you testing?
If it’s for meet projections then you need to do all three on the same day. If it’s to re-set training resistance then it should be done on the day that movement is scheduled.
Well it’s both actually

Ha I’d have to agree. Not only do maxes in training mean dick, but doing them on the same day lets you know how you’ll feel during a meet.
Not to say you ALWAYS have to do it that way, but there is definitely nothing wrong with it.

It can’t be both at the same time.
I’ll reset training resistance then

This is totally fine and plenty of time to recover. As others have mentioned there is nothing wrong with testing the same day as well although it can be a bit time consuming. Good luck with the maxes.
Thanks guys, I will test them the same day then and take the rest of the week as deload to start a new program on the next week.
It depends, for some Power lifters and me included we might have it worked into our work out regiment. We could also hold a Mock Meet with the guys to see improvement for a meet. Because we know after a Squat Max its going to be alittle harder on Bench and Dead Lift but; that is what we expected for meets
Anyone else find it easier to test all three lifts on the same day with less break in between rather than more break? I personally find that the cooling-down-warming-back-up cycle tires me out more.
