Yes, this is my first post, but I’ve been hiding in the shadows for quite a while (over 6 months) and finally found something worth posting about.
The Problem: I love to squat, but I think I strained something. I’ve given it time off and stretched and it still isn’t better. Before I go to a Strength and Conditioning Coach I was wondering if anyone had a clue what it was.
So whenever I get into a full squat, back or front, I feel a tension on near where my glute and hamstring connect on the back of my left leg. The tension numbs itself after a few sets, but it has kept me from serious weight for about 3 weeks and I’m tired of it. It is also decently painful until I warm it up, but has not affected my ordinary life in anyway (can’t even tell).
I thought it might be my hamstring, but I can do ham raises no problem. Glute strain?
Does anyone have any experience in this?
