What can I do to replace it? I’ve thought about just loading up one end of a standard barbell but I’m unsure if that would work.
Any other ideas?

That’s pretty much how your do it. Get one of the attachments for cable rows and use that.
which one works the best? I’m having a hard time remembering all of them.
Why not just use a barbell, load the barbells on one end and put the other end in a corner? Why are you doing these as opposed to a barbell row?
what are other options for tbar row or other rows?
the lower back gets taxed too much on rows without support
variety. something different.

I use what I call the “V-bar,” the one that has your hands parallel to each other and a couple inches apart.
Tbar’s seem to hit the lats in a different manner from any other row. I believe they really are the best exercise for thickness

So do I. That is the movement I use for mass more than anything. My back is pretty wide as a result. I don’t do deadlifts even though I have nothing against them.

Agree too. I get far more out of them than I do from regular barbell rows.
I agree with you guys that it’s the best for width; I learned to love it back in my HS gym but now I don’t have one to use and my back routine is severely hurting because of it (not literally).
I’m actually kind of pissed at my gym. I’ve asked more than 10 times for a tbar row and a preacher bench but I guess they don’t care.

1 corner + 1 Olympic bar + Heavy Ass Weight = T-Bar Row.
You shouldn’t have to ask for that.

Same here, brand new gym, one of the nicest college gyms I’ve seen. (used by both athletes and general population) We don’t have a t-bar, preacher bench, or dumbbells past 100 lbs. Hard to believe.
For about six months a friend of mind and I thought we invented Tbars, but we called them “corner pulls”. We just butted a barbell up to a corner, loaded one side, and used a seated row handle. For a variation we’d put a lat pull handle through the row handle (if you can picture that). It was basicly just wide grip Tbars.

A friend of mine taught me the excercise you just desribded. The washburn gym doesn’t have the handle, but my friend brings it in on back days, and I steal it.
Ya, we thought we were pretty smart when we came up with “corner pulls”. I was kinda bumed when I found out I was a little late on inventing them. Still, I’ve never seem anyone else do the wide grip, lat pull bar version.
You’re up at Washburn, eh? I’m just an hour or so down the road.
