T-Nation Members Goals

I want to hit a deadlift of 400 by the end of the school year, currently at 315. I’d like to squat 250 in the same time frame, currently at 200.

I suppose 6% bodyfat and striations would be nice, but let’s take this one step at a time.

I just started a new training cycle and these are my goes for the next four months.

I am 5’8

Squat 305 - 350
DL 340 - 400ish
Bench 240 - 275

Move from a body weight 170ish to 180ish

I would like to be pushing 190 by this time next year. At my heaviest this year I was pushing 180, but I leaned out in the last couple months (not by choice) to about 170.

In a year, I’d like another 20 pounds.

Move up to 198 weight class by 08 USAPL Collegiate Nationals and lay down a 1500 total in single ply gear without getting any major injuries between now and then.

I still have not hit my all my goals for the end of the year!

Current Stats
6’4"
265lbs.
BF? Well lets just say I could stand to lose some.

Previous goals.
Max BP=300
Squat for 8 reps=315
DL 405
Lose Fat. No specific target. Just better then what I am now.

I have hit the Squat and DL goals. The Body Fat is slowly melting away. Bench is falling behind. But Current Max is 285. Should have the goal in a month or two.

You will look at my body and realize I am a pretty big dude. But 15 years of inactivity have taken it’s toll. I have only been training since May so I am thinking that this is good progress.

When I quit lifting at 19-20 best were.
BP=330
Squat=~450
DL=Best ever 515.

Ok so new Goals. I will not be working on these Till Jan 1.

Bench. 350
Squats. Rep at 405
DL. 515? Can I do what I did when I was 19? If so will I look as good?
All these will come due at the end of next year.

Run a 4.5 something 40…Not bad for a 27 year old who doesn’t compete in any serious athletic organizations.

Spend more time on my snoboard and the rock wall. Go camping more. Next year its all about outdoor explorations. Kayak, whitewater rafting, hiking. Ride my bike around most places I go close to home(in the city especially) instead of driving so much.

bench 250, squat 300 and dead 350

numbers are low (190-220-275 but if they werent I wouldnt have anything to work for.

Other goal for the new year is to do more. I’ve gotten alot lazier since I started working full time.

300 bench, 400 squat, 500 D/l, hopefully by July next year, or not much after that.

Started lifting less than 6 months ago, currently have a 225/340/330, added about 60 to each from the start, at least.

Started the year 01/01/06 at 180, currently
5’10 205 16%, want to stay under or about 220 with the current BF or less (hopefully), after a year of gaining and losing weight pretty rapidly.

Current Stats
Age: 18
Height: 6’1"
Weight: 200 lbs
BF: 9-10%
BB Split Squat: 165 x 6 reps
VJ: 31"
60M: 7.28 seconds
100M: ~11.3 seconds

Goals by July of 2007:
Height: 6’2" (Hey, I’m only 18)
Weight: 200 lbs
BF: 7-8%
BB Split Squat: 250 x 5 reps
VJ: 37-38"
60M: sub 7 seconds
100M: sub 10.6 seconds

It shouldn’t be too hard to meet my goals. I’m weak as hell and my stats are bound to jump up once I get a real strength base in place.
