Just got word from my MD that while closing in on age 42 I’ve lost testosterone production. His letter said that my total T level was “normal” at 370, with the normal range being 241 to 827, but that my free or active T level was “minimally decreased” at 14, with the normal range being 16 to 33.
What do you think? He said he does not recommend hormone replacement therapy, but should I be using food, herbs or supplements to try to bring that free/active level back up. If so, what do you recommend? Or am I worrying about nothing? Let me know your thoughts.
