I’m going to be buying some Surge here soon and wanted to know what you all thought of it’s BCAA and glutamine content. I know many people here recommend using a lot of glutamine (10g before and 10g after lifting), but I’m curious if anyone thinks there’s a “ground floor” for glutamine. Surge has 3g per serving. I plan on using 1 serving after hitting the weights (3-4x per week)… although I haven’t tried it before, so I don’t know if more than one serving is typical. Anyway, I’m eating a lower-carb style diet (no more than 25% of calories, will be working down to around 15%), and my goal is gradual fat loss.
As for BCAA content, it seems to be consistent with many of the other BCAA supplements I see out there, so I’m wondering if it’s ample. I know, I know, a lot of this is very individual, but I just wanted to pick some brains. So the question: Surge only? or supplement with extra glutamine and BCAAs? Thanks for any responses.
