Heya fella’s. Are there any supplements that any of you men or woman out there swear by? Because it seems the more research i do into a particular product, there more i feel the need to buy it because i always hear about the benefits, etc. I don’t want to waste my money, i just want to grow some muscle. So if anybody has found a particular product useful, please tell me!
Thanking you all
Biotest Surge and Grow! (just food, but handy and high quality) are on my must have list. Had great results with other Biotest stuff, but those are my two core, use-every-day products.
Good protein powders, a good creatine are the basics. I have also found that Androsol works great. I personally think that many products only cause the wallets of the companies pimping them to grow. Rule of the thumb, if the product has “before and after” pictures…it is a scam. I have had the greatest gains by actually eating better! No supplements.
MAG-10, 4-AD-EC, Tribex-500, and Methoxy-7 have each made a tremendous change to my physique.
ZMA, makes you sleep deep deep
Protein powder and multi-vitamin. Antioxidants are helpful especially with intense workouts.
uh any BIOTEST supplement!!!
But creatine and lots of protein and a multivitamin have done wonders for me. Androsol is amazing and MAG-10 was fuckin amazin!!!
MAG-10 blew me up like nothing else ever has. Grow is a staple of my diet due to my job rescrictions.
I think it is best to break supplements up in the following way - a 3-tier system and you should not progress until lower tiers are satisfied first.
Tier 1 - Essentials: Multi-Vitamin/Mineral, Antioxidant, EFA - (flax, fish, etc…), Trace Mineral (ZMA, and other minerals that may be blocked by friggin’ Calcium), Protein Powder like Grow!
Tier 2 - Conditionally Essential: Post-Workout Drink like Surge (mind you, what separates tier one from 2 is things like tier 1 should be taken by the sedentary slug, tier 2 is more like the condition equals working out therefore all of us here are probably in need of some items from tier 2 as well), creatine, L-glutamine, protein synthesizes (ie. - methoxy products, ecdysterone products), alpha lipoic acid (if not within a fat burner like the former MD6 -RIP), BCAAs (which are in Surge), acetyl-l-carnitine (the condition: a ketogenic diet)
Tier 3 - Ergogenics: Thermogenics (and God I hate ephedra free anything - it just ain't the same), Prohormones (4AD-EC, A1E, etc...), Testosterone Potentiators (Tribex), Anti-Estrognics (M), etc...
Good Non-Biotest products I have had luck with (but don't sweat it "boys in blue" I am still a born and bread T-man and use predominately Biotest products): Gen's Humanovar (something happens with sleep quality while using this that I cannot quite explain but I have used nothing like it ever), Syntrax's Syntrabol (definite better pumps - I wish Biotest would put out a damn Ecdysterone product, but I know, I know nothing anyone else has done)
Hope this helps
A great night time supplement is L-Glutamine. This essential amino acid helps to ensure that you do not go catabolic as you sleep as well as if your training on an empty stomach. On top of a good multi, Protein powder, and creatine, glutamine is right there.
Dana I have been curious about Humanovar an Syntrabol. Can you tell me how the your dosage and the length of time you have been using each one? Also Syntabol is supposed to have a benificial effect on the skin. Have you noticed this? Syntrabol sounds like a good product to use with Myostat and Mag10. Thanks
Ok, as far as everyone’s interest may go:
-
Syntrabol - I used at max recommended dose (2 tabs, 3xs/day) Is it necessary, maybe/maybe not, but it seemingly worked well that way. I am not certain what I was to look for as far as skin is concerned but it did help with vascularity - it is a very high dosing of ecdysterone in comparison to other formulations. 200mg per tab…so 6 caps a day allows for 1.2g in the day…it blows away many other formulations without the addition of excess stuff like a product like EAS’ Ecdymax HP. I don’t know - I just really had a good experience with it. It is the first time I have really used a Syntrax product since Adipokinetix. Norephedrine was 10x better than ephedra and now without even that -fat loss is gonna slow down to perhaps a crawl. I don’t know about combination use with Mag-10 and the like as I did a Mag-10 cycle in January and again am currently doing one now, but haven’t obviously stayed on it all year long. In the interem I used the Syntrabol. I tell you what - if you use too much, it may be hard to attribute where the benefits come. Maybe it would be best to use Syntrabol in between Mag-10 doses or something. I mean was it the Mag-10 or was it the Syntrabol…If you only use both, how can you differentiate.

Hummanovar: I used as directed and heard some stuff about quality of sleep improving but didnt really think much of it. When I got it and started taking it…I felt amazing after a nights rest but did not recall still that I heard it improved sleep qulaity somewhere. I think it truly did that. I think this may be a good 1-2 punch supplement to be used directly when coming off a Mag-10 cycle w/ M or during the initial phases of a Mag-10 cycle when sleep may be impaired due to increased T levels.
Id love to hear of your experiences with either of these supps if you attempt use with them at all, as well as your Mag-10 experiences.
Food.
Proper eating at the proper time. Surge is a staple of my supplementation, and will almost guarantee sustained muscle growth albeit slow. It’ my favorite supplemnt. I also like dorian Yates’ Pro MRP for their protein blend and I also like Juiced protein by Pinnacle. I am never without MD6 (untill my next 10 bottles run out). I honestly believe for long and sustained muscle growth protein manipulation is the key along with something called food. Eating the right proteins at the right time will insure proper growth. 2 grms per pound works wonders for me. It must be consistant and you must be patient.
Vitamin Beer, of course! kidding
GROW, Surge, Creatine (a staple), Multi-Vita/Mineral, Vitamin C and the B-Vitamins. And can never, ever, forget FOOD. The best of them all.
CREATINE ,MULTI VITAMAN , VITAMAN E , FISH OIL,WHEY PROTIEN
Thanks Dana. One of the reasons I was interested in Syntrabol is because it contains far more product per cap. If I were to use 6/day it would cost me about $100/month here in Canada. So for that money I would proabably buy Myostat or Mag10. The benefits to the skin are supposed to be a clearing of blemishes. Which of course one can sometimes get with androgens . That’s one of the reasons I thought in might be good in combination with Mag10 or similar type products. Haven’t used Mag10, yet. I am waiting to get everything together first. I look forward to it though. Androsol worked great for me so I figure Mag10 will rock.
I take the following supplements everyday.
Multi-Vitamine = Usana Essentials Protein = Grow / Isopure Zero Carb Creatine = Dimaxx Muscle + Post Workout = Surge Flax oil = 12 caps Fish Oils = 12 caps Myostat
So far I belive in everything I take but the verdict is still out on Myostat.
wow! $100 - how the hell come you must pay so much - international shipping? Netrition has them for like $30/bottle or so with int. shipping you may at tops be talking $15 extra right? Now, anyone actually have any thoughts on Syntrax products - the people on that forum usually don’t perceive Biotest products as “worth it” - well they are sadly mistaken and I see both holding merit. But yeah, Mag-10 etc… is a better route to go. As far as skin effects…I was actually plagued with Acne as a child and it comes back periodically but you may have said it made things look “clearer” but to be honest I had no idea to look for that kinda thing so I wish I had heard and could give you feedback, but I used it probably back in late March/early April when I cycled off Mag-10 for the first time. Here it is June and I am back on Mag-10, without cycling back on Syntrabol as of yet - so that may tell you which I think is a better choice. But hey, maybe if you aren’t using Mag-10 sometime, you could give it a shot. I would definitely try it again (and definitely look for those skin-effects).
This question is addressed to Dr. Protein and others that use Ephedrine based products all of the time. Are you constantly dieting? Have you experienced any kind of lean body mass gain while on an extended MD6 cycle?
I thought Ephedrine’s ability to shut insulin down was much more powerful than ALA insulin mimicking/nutrient depositing properties, so how in the world is this possible?
