Supplement Staples

So I’m running low on supplies and planning on re-stocking this weekend.
But before I do I wanted to see what others consider staples in their supplement routine.

I want to know if I’m missing something or should be taking more of something.

I use the following

TRIBEX: 4/day
ZMA: 3/night
Power Drive: 1 serving per work out
BCAA: 4.8g / work out
Spike: As nessesary
HRX: As nessesary
Creatine: 10g after each work out
Fish oil: 4g /day
Flax Seed oil: 4g /day
Milled Flax seeds: 3 tbls / day
Vitamin A: 1000mg /day
Calcium: 50% /day
Protein Powder: a hell of a lot.

So what and how much do you guys use?

You are asking for staples correct? Mine are the following.

Metabolic Drive both varieties and the Bars.

Flameout

BCAA’s

REZ-V

Surge

Greens +

Spike

These are always present if possible no deviation.

HOT-ROX both varieties , Alpha Male, TRIBEX, Methoxy-7 are added when goals call for it.

  2. Metabolic Drive
  3. Surge
  4. Multivitamin occasionally

Anything else wouldn’t be a staple. These are basic food/nutrition supplements. Everything else I get from whole food.

I may use HOT-ROX or something else every once in a while, but it’s for a specific purpose.

Anyone else?

I’m going also start taking 1500mg of Glucosamine / Chondrotin for my joints.

I take Joint Effort every day along with Flameout for my joints.

My staples are:
AnimalPak
The above 2
BCAAs
Elite Whey Protein (Metabolic Drive Complete when they get chocolate back!)

My only staples are:

  1. Whey / Casein
  2. ZMA
  3. Fish Oils
  4. Multi-V

I just started taking Alpha Male…will it become a staple too?

I get jacked up enough for my workouts, I usually don’t need Spike.

All the Biotest supps that I use I order from the website if thats what you wanted to know.

Staples: I’d say Alpha Male and BCAAs. Greens+/ Surge and protein supplements depending on goals and caloric needs. Surge the majority of the time. I don’t think most people do it, but I think protein powders should be avoided on very low-calorie and low carb diets. I think Berardi has it right. You want to be meeting those needs with real food. All other times, I think they can have a place in people’s diets and be very beneficial.

I forgot fish oil. I take fish oil no matter what else I’m taking or not taking.
