This is a version of Super Mario that lets you play as characters from different games. You can be link, mega man, and some other guys from games i’ve never played. The cool thing is that you get their weapons and the music played in their games!!!

Saw this linked on Kotaku(nerd alert), and I thought it would be shallow and just a little sprite swapping, but it is so thorough(the sounds, the music, Simon not being able to change directions in mid-jump). It’s truly a work of art as far as flash games go.
CANNOT wait to get home and play this.
This is some really quality stuff. Good attention to detail, IMHO. Well done. He even added platforms for the jumps you can’t make because you can’t run as the other characters.
Impressive, i didn’t thought it was going to be this well-made.

i found this a couple days ago, and it’s a lot of fun. i like mega man the best because he’s the only one who has a gun and is short enough to shoot gumbas without needing to duck.

… unfortunately, that is completely offset with that evil knock back he suffers when he’s hit. God I hate that.

OMG not being able to turn in mid jump makes him completely worthless to me… i just can’t handle it.

Heh, I did discover that you can change mid jump, in a way. The game allows you to change the direction of his “second jump” when doing the double jump.
Anyone else dying play Castlevania, with Mario? Heh. It’s clear Mario is better than Simon in “Mario Land”, but is he also better than Simon in “Castlevania Land”?
